Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals

Sunday we come out, put all the BS aside and play some good football. We should see more of our rookies in this game than we've seen all year. Instead of trying to play up to expectations, we just come out and play football. I expect Portis to have some hellacious blocks, Thomas to have his best game yet, and maybe even have Kelly and DAVIS make some contributions. We win, and we win BIG.

C'mon 53, expecting the usual punishment Portis delivers on blitzing defenders just doesn't get me excited. How about a 200 yard day for the Mouth from Miami? I say CP comes out w/ a huge chip on his shoulder and has his best game of the season.

I hope so, but with possibly 2 starters on the o-line out I'm expecting some blocking on his part also. I really think we're going to open things up a little and getting Jason time should be a priority. Of course if Portis runs for 200 yards I'll be alright with that!

Shit, I just hope we don't go 3 and out in the first offensive series.

Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals

Skins lose.........27 to 13. Campbell gets sacked 15 times and leaves the game in the 3rd quarter. Portis starts yelling at Zorn on the sideline, the crowd cheers him on. Portis then walks into the lockeroom, the crowd still cheers him on. Heyer, Fabini, and Sellers start to point at each other telling each other who they are supposed to block. Fabini misses his block this time. Todd Collins gets sacked again fumbling the ball on this one. Zorn yells at Sellers for missing his block on that play. Rock Cartwright plays at the fullback position. Rock makes his block, but can't hold him. Todd is sacked again..............I'm drinking vodka straight out of the bottle now..........London Fletcher is pissed and lays out Kenny Watson! London Fletcher pumps up the defense and we get a quarterback pressure!!! Followed by an interception............I'm getting a bottle of champagne now as I need to celebrate............Todd gets sacked again. Cincy is now going for the single game record. Zorn yells at Todd for not "getting the ball out quicker" puts Colt Brennan into the game. Colt hangs tough and gets us a touchdown and is hailed as a savior! Even though we still lose the game. I finish my bottle of champagne just happy that we have now FINALLY found the next Joe Theisman.

Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals

Every week i pick us to win. And theres no money on the table here at The Warpath so how could you not? We HAVE the roster potential to beat every team in the league on any given sunday. So every week we weigh the pros and cons and most weigh US in the victors.

Last week...i mentioned ED REED. I spoke of how he was dealing with an injury and he might not play. Guess i mentioned him for a reason...

*This week im not mentioning Sh*t.

WE NEED TO SHOW OFFENSE AGAINST A VULNERABLE D THIS WEEK!!!
CP WILL BE BACK OVER 100 YARDS ON THE GROUND!
SKINS 20
CINCI 10

Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals

at this point, we should be happy with, the season, I predicted a 7-9 season, and I wouldnt mind if we lose out, we need a great OL and since we dont have a second rounder, we should be trying to trade our 3rd up for and 2nd and maybe Springs, (contract) smoot, or M. Washington, we need impact players, every Redskins superstar, except CP should be resigned there current deal's to make money for -Albert Hanynesworth- i like to ARE go, Thrash, and Sellers, CP is so fast, he needs to run out the backfield without a FB (see sanders). I be happy to tank the season, to be an elite team, if not then plan on building a few more years. I am still not sure with JC, but if we can get an elite WR to go next to Moss. Then he be on a one year leash, with Colt B. ready for 2010

Redskins-27 Bengals-10 I think we get a glimpse of what this offense CAN look like and kick the Bengals ass.
