So what are people's thoughts if we moved up to get Orakpo? I mean, having Carter, Griff, Haynesworth, and Orakpo at the line would be pretty sick I think.

Hmmm...I'd be happier trading up for Jason Smith or Monroe if either guy falls a bit. Time to grab another bookend tackle.

On paper that would give us a top 3 D-line, easily.

Since Raji did not test positive for the ganja, we may not be able to get him because his stock will be too high.

But, yeah, that would be a d-line which is killer up the middle.

Speaking of Raji, happy 4/20 everyone.

Uhh, I dreamed about that when the herb story broke. Doubt it happens now but yeah that would be amazing.

...btw if we could trade up and land Curry w/o giving up future picks who would be for it?

Mods (attention please ) might we have a poll that goes something like: Which player is most worth trading up?

Sanchez
Orakpo
Curry
Monroe
Rey (haha gotcha)
Jason Smith

Curry is an outstanding player but I would not be for it. I think we need several solid players, not one amazing one. To me trading up is going in the wrong direction.

It is possible that we can stay put at 13 and still get Orakpo.

Yes, that would be one butt-kicking d-line. It might be our best d-line since the glory years of the early '80s.

Well unfortunately The Danny's latest tantrum has us trading up.

Against all reason I refuse to believe that. No offense Ruhskins but I just can't buy into that plan. I'll just wait until Saturday, when it becomes certain (if it does), and then be very pissed.

None taken. I truly hope that this is the biggest smoke screen put on by the FO. Maybe the Jets will bite and give us wayy to much to trade with us. One glimmer of hope that I have, is the lack of bashing by Mike Florio on this interest on Sanchez.

Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap

I'm as high on the idea of getting Orakpo here as I've ever been.

I'm going to say this: if we're willing to trade up just a few picks, we might just be in position to land Aaron Curry. That would be one heck of a draft steal at, say, No. 8.

I think Blache, or any defensive coordinator for that matter, would love to have this guy. I know I would.

Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap

You know what would be awesome? If the Browns and Skins make the trade before the draft and the Seahawks take Sanchez, then Danny would eat shit and maybe learn a lesson the hard way. This won't happen, I guarantee that the Seahawks will take Sanchez. The only way this trade occurs is if they trade with either Detroit, Rams or Chiefs.
