As we've seen, anything can happen in the NFL. But when I look at the Giants run-game, how are we gonna stop them when we make no-name RBs look good? Need I say anything about our CBs against their WRs? Remember... Eli ain't Cutler.

I wish we had more playmaking wideouts. Don't get me wrong I love Santana, and Anthony Armstrong looks to be improving, but seeing the Eagles with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, and the Giants with Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith, and the Cowboys with Dez Bryant (who had a great game tonight) and Miles Austin makes me envious. DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Hakeem Nicks, and Dez Bryant are all great playmakers, and they do make more plays than Santana.

I was thinking the same thing--it's quite depressing when you look up and down the WR crop in our division and see so many young guys making plays. Jason Avant and Riley Cooper also make plays for the Eagles as do Manningham and Ramses Barden for the Giants. Makes me further question why we keep old retreads like Galloway and Roydell Williams. I'm glad Banks is getting a shot now. Might as well promote Austin and see what he can do. He'll gain experience and at the very least duplicate the 0-1 catches that Galloway gives us a game...

to that end, and i believe key johnson said before last nights game, that they invested heavily into an already deep position of wide receiver with the 1st round selection of dez bryant, the resigning of austin and the draft pick given up to get roy wiliams.

just like the ravens sports radio guys have been saying that the ravens decision to invest their top picks on offense at the expense of the defense over the years (oher, grubbs, flacco, rice) and FA and trade acquisitions (birk, boldin, stallworth) has left them with lil relative depth on defense since they lost key players (scott, leonhard).

the only key defensive acquisition the ravens made was foxworth (and resigning lewis and suggs).

so i guess what im saying is the boys have loaded up on receivers at the expense of adding an O lineman or defensive player. it seems they certainly could use a high draft pick O lineman or safety more so than a 3rd wide receiver at this point.

and the ravens D is not what it used to be, this has been predicted and foreshadowed pretty intelligently by the baltimore talking heads for the past 2 years.

it should be interesting to see how the boys utilize their FA spending and draft picks in the next 2 years. another wr, te or rb should not be an option.

Don't worry, all we have to do is follow ace's advice. Trade away our draft picks for Vincent Jackson(and his kicking of the penalty flag in a playoff game). We'll be the rest of division in two ways. First, by showing they're wrong to use the draft and second, we get a HOF'er.

And you know what's worse? All of those wideouts I listed above, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Hakeem Nicks, Steve Smith, Mario Manningham, and Dez Bryant were all drafted by their respective teams in the last 3 seasons, and Miles Austin was undrafted but spent enough time learning his craft so that he could be a playmaker when his number was called. We should've invested our 2008 first round pick on an offensive lineman because that was a weak draft for elite wideouts (yeah I know Eagles took DeSean Jackson when we had a chance to take him, we just went for the bigger guy instead of the smaller but faster wideout because that's what everybody thought we needed .)

It definitely hurts knowing these guys are going to be tearing up the league for a long time while we are sitting here with one quality wideout (Moss) and a bunch of has-beens (Galloway) or unknowns (Armstrong, Banks, Austin, and MK after this season).

What we can hope for is they help us out a little and maybe beat the Eagles,who have a bad defense. Even Kitna can carve that like butter.

Cowboys can actually help us out, by beating a few teams for us this season,to give us that high playoff seed

There not winning 8 of their last 10 with that schedule,so maybe upsetting a few teams could help us a bit.(and even that at 9-7, is no automatic playoff spot)

We will see...

Oh..god no
That was not a prediction..

That was a scenario of them taking down a few teams, while still not making the playoffs.

I too,think they will be lucky to win 3 more games as you do....

But what would you rather have?
Washington wins division with a 10-6 record and is the 3rd seed and Green bay is 11-5 and is the 2nd seed?

Or dallas beating Green bay and making green bay also 10-6 as we would be and us getting the 2nd seed instead.

That's just one example...

My point?
If the Cowboys have no shot at making the playoffs,then why not have them help us a bit by maybe beating the Giants or eagles once..?

We have a tough schedule...we might need that help.
That's all I'm saying...

and beat @Giants,Sweep the Eagles,win @ Green bay,win over saints

and maybe win over @Arizona (but this may not matter..we will see on this game)

This would give them a 7-9 record and no playoffs...and catapult the redskins to the superbowl

How many INT's did Eli throw(how many did Cutler throw)? Their Oline is better than the Bears, yet Eli threw multiple picks. I am not going to say today that we beat them hands down, but I think this team has done enough that they ought to at least be expected to compete against any team out there.

Yeah, Joey Galloway is a head scratcher at this point. Why and how is he still on the team? And has Roydell Wiliams even seen the field lately? We're essentially running the show with one wideout and one TE. That's it.
