Re: Game Ball
Not trying to argue but Williams left a lot of yards on the field on several of those runs. He did his job, don't get me wrong, but he is a placeholder and is not even close to being a bellcow.

Re: Game Ball
I agree with Pockets straight. CP looked real good for the few snaps he played..

The O-line was a revelation yesterday. McNabb actually had time to work through his progressions. Hopefully they will continue to play at that level. |

Re: Game Ball
I agree, but he's certainly proving his worth as valuable guy to have around for depth.

Re: Game Ball
My take;
OL did awsome. This is the kind of work we wanted all year. The Titans have an extremely good DL which creates havok. With all the injuries our OL did outstanding Sun. RB K.Williams I think is a really good RB. No he's not CP when it comes to pass blocking but remember CP is around 30 and has played in many games. He knows what to look for and where. K.Williams is still learning. Williams also proved in most cases to be difficult to tackle and provided positive yards. Only when the OL faltered did he lose a yard or atleast get back to the line of scrimmage. WR, although Galloway stepped up.... it really wasn't enough for me to be all over his jock. I'd still see how Austin or any other WR's look in practice from the PS and possibly replace Galloway or R.Williams. Banks had a nice catch. People can say whatever they want about WR's and their height but Banks is the prime example that height should not matter. He's played long enough to know not to run straight into the CB for the jam and knows when to catch and run and when to catch and avoid the hit. His catch Sun. night just proved he can take a hit. Give him slant routes or curl routes on third downs plus more screens. Offensive play calls were what we needed and should have had against the Eagles as well. Defense wants to bum rush all the time, incorporate the screen pass to slow them down. Over all nice effort and not staying flat the whole 1st quarter. |

Re: Game Ball
I'll give a gameball to WM. He made a big difference in the pass-pro as well as the run game. Also gameballs to the RBs.

Re: Game Ball
id give it to the coaching staff as well. really well designed game plan on both sides of the ball and like Shanny has been saying since TC, if we can establish the run early we will be in games. Im glad they stuck with the run game.
and did we have 32 firstdowns? wow

Re: Game Ball
Killed by the insistence of not playing out of the shotgun on 3rd downs. I'm glad that they've remedied this (hopefully long term), now they need to figure out how to score on the redzone.

Re: Game Ball
Shotgun on 3rd down should be automatic, especially with how many times McNabb has gotten tripped up by the OL this year.

As a receiver, he's decent IF he catches it though.

Re: Game Ball
Your probably right, i was giving Kyle the benifit. Sellers running the ball is a clusterf*ck, you could see immediately that play was going nowhere fast

Re: Game Ball
Well, the Bungles 2008 game where he fumbled on the goal line is still a painful memory.

Re: Game Ball
As critical as I've been of Shanny, he and his staff were masterful and engaged coaching through so many injuries.
