It looks like that might work. I want to see Barnes challenged on picking up routes deep; haven't finished the Jags game yet with how work has been this week. He seems to know where to be and if he could arrive there a bit earlier he could really make some more plays rather than just stops at the point of impact. Part of that will be more experience at the position and more studying of the role. Of course with our offseason CB situation(s) he may be forced back into one of those roles, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. We're going to have to replace at least one S and CB

Barnes has looked good the last 2 weeks, especially today and playing S instead of CB.

Maybe Barnes can go on the L. Landry weight lifting plan, and gain about 20 pounds. He could play safety for us lol..

He's playing really good today

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

We should bring in Champ for a year or 2 at free safety IF he doesnt demand huge money. Db - Barnes, FS - Bailey, SS - Landry, Db - Hall i like a lot more as a starting unit than what we have now. Let Westbrook be a backup db and draft a db or 2 to develop some young depth.
