Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
How I look at it, Matthieu worst case in the nfl is just a good returner if he doesn't pan out as a NB

I think our bigger need is at FS though.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
i do too, you can get both this draft. Saftey is deep. Eric Reid 2nd round or Baccarri Rambo 3rd round both at free safety are possibilities. Cornerback is deep too

Quote:
Kasheem Greene from Rutgers has put together a very solid year for Rutgers. Possible 3rd or 4th round pick (he might get picked before that). 6'1 230 and has a good frame to put some weight. A lot of the players on the bleacher report article won't be available when we pick... |

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
I would take Honey Badger in the 5th round. He could be dominant in the slot. Where he can Rover, blitz, and play the run.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
He is high on talent, so I don't think he drops that far. Polamalu is only 5'10, don't care about his size so much. It's whether or not he needs a full time psychologist?

Marcus Lattimore of South Carolina Gamecocks to enter NFL draft -- source - ESPN
Tough break for the kid. Tore ACLs in both knees in consecutive years. If healthy, he could be a great pickup in the later rounds.

6th round is where I would draft Marcus not any higher. Feel bad for him though never will be close to the player he was or could have been

3rd: Ricky Wagner RT 4th: Rashard Hall FS 5th: Malliciah Goodman DE 5th: Christian Michael RB 6th: Collin Klein (depending on the OC i.e. if we're still running a lot of zone-read stuff) 7th: Trevardo Williams (conversion player from DE to LB outstanding trait:speed) |

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
I want nothing to do with Marcus Lattimore. I thought he was good when healthy, but not amazing like these scouts hyped him up to be. Now after losing both knees..no thanks.
Heres a name for you all DJ Swearinger FS south carolina...dude is linked to us in a few mocks already..

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Some All-Americans (according to different sites) that I think the redskins should target...
MLB Mike Mauti - O'brien loves him team leader and forcers turnovers, FS Phillip Thomas 8 picks, three touchdowns, very similar to Byrd, plays like a center fielder and makes plays, had 9 tackles against oregon and forced a fumble. Always around the ball RB Montee Ball - not a need but he will fall because RB's with that many touches always fall would be a good pick up. KR - Reggie Dunn 4 KO's returned for touchdown in 10 returns this year. Has NCAA records for career returns and season returns. SS - Matt Elam just a baller possible to get both Elam and Thomas? Hopefully both run bad 40's CB - Jordan Poyer - played very well against good receivers, not great but good size at 6 190 lbs, good in coverage. WR- Tavon Austin - good chance he won't be available but still a beast. Last edited by donofriose; 12-10-2012 at 07:34 PM. |
