How about wearing the knee brace properly. The brace was on his shin and not his knee.
Anyways, looking forward to what we can do next year. I feel good that we almost beat what some are calling the best team in football with hardly any offense for 3 quarters. |

From the first time I saw this guy at Baylor I have been singing his praises. But not today. There is Gallant and there is selfish. yesterday was selfish. His team had no chance to win with him at quarterback After he tweaked it early in the game.
This franchises mortgaged everything on this guy. My guess is he'll be gone till November. Welcome to four and 12 It should cost Shannahan's job 'With great power comes great responsibility' |

re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
That's the same thing I've been saying in my head over and over again as sportscasters have criticized the Skins for jeopardizing RG's future. He had a sprained tendon; worse case scenario he tears it, gets ACL surgery, and by September he's playing on a knee structurally stronger than it's ever been.

How is anyone putting the blame on Griffin? Is Shanny not the coach of this team?
He saw what we all seen after the first quarter. Do what he was paid to do and make the tough decisions whether it pisses a player off or not. He wasn't brought in to appease any players emotions. |

I still think an injured Griffin would've given us a better chance to win than Cousins. We can second guess all we want, but at the end of the day it is the right call. Other players were hobbled out there but they played because they gave us the best opportunity to win.

re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
I believe he should have come out at least after the first series in the 2nd quarter. It was obvious to anyone watching the game that he was hurt and not effective. He couldn't run and he couldn't plant his leg to throw. The Seahawks definetly knew it, and it worked against the rest of our offense. RGIII didn't want to come out, but that's not his decision. The coach has to make that decision, and it cost the Redskins a chance and possibly a worse injury. Cousins proved he is a capable QB and would have given us a better chance. He couldn't have done any worse as it turns out.
That being said, I couldn't be prouder to be a Redskin fan and the season we had. We accomplished more this year than any of us could have dreamed. I hope his injury is not worst case and he takes the off season to heal and come back next year ready to dominate. HTTR |

Initial stuff I'm seeing on twitter says MCL tear-
Take it with a grain of salt because it's twitter- but yeah, I think judging on how it looked that could be the case. Still a great season, but man- I was screaming for him to come out after the 14-0 lead and he started to hobble. Damn shame.

Yeah, I guess we're hindsighting this morning. But Rob should have been yanked after the second TD. He just wasn't right. Hasn't been for a month. I hope he'll get some of whatever Adrian Peterson had during the offseason.

It's called denial. Something I think RG3 and Shanahan were both in during the game too.

We march down the field and win and his knee holds up- I think we're still saying, "Man he's awesome, but at what point do you yank him?". Huge blow.

It's fairly safe to say whether it's MCL or ACL, he'll recover, right? But my concern is this a recurring problem like with Greg Oden? Although different type of injury.

RG3 isn't the first player to have a knee injury. He will recover.
