Re: Jags Pregame Thread

I would cut Foster and Brown for the way they are acting towards the team, they might be frustrated but their attitude is what bothers me and probably why the D has fallen apart. I guess we know why Brown was benched on Sunday, attitude.

I'm not totally giving up on Doctson, I think he's been trending up, not quite as quickly as we'd all like but I do think he's shown some signs of improvement as of late

Last 5 games: 46 yards, 32 yards, 66 yards, 51 yards, 84 yards. Extrapolate that five game stretch to a full season of 16 games, that's 892 yards.

I'd like more out of my first round WR but that's clearly better.

However, very much worth noting that a good chunk of those yards came while in garbage time while the defense had backed off due to the game being mostly out of reach. Need Doc to contribute when the game is on the line.

Doc sucks, time to stop hoping he ends up worth the pick. He sucked when we had Kirk and he sucks now. Wont change

He’s had his chance it’s time to move on. Not trying to get stuck with a Devin Thomas/Malcolm Kelly type situation

I would bring him back, he has another year on his contract but I think he needs to know he won't make the team unless he earns it.

agree, he needs to compete and not handed the outside job. I think regime change either lifts his game or gets him cut. Too much inconsistency...one thing that is a positive is his blocking ability in the run game has been pretty good.

Yeah run blocking maybe is where he improved most because last year he wasn't having none of it!

We'll know when and if the front office picks up his 5th yr option or not.

I don't think he'll live up to the First round status but he's still a decent NFL WR. We're expecting him to be the #1 and put up outrageous stats but that's not gonna be him. He's a solid #2/3 receiver worth bringing back on his rookie contract.

WR is definitely a need though, in case you guys didn't already know...

Re: Jags Pregame Thread

Redskins are 1st in holds, 2nd in false starts, 1st in negative runs to right side of O-line. That's the curse.

Per JP Finlay

Losing Scherff was as big as Alex.

Moses is good for at least 2 false starts a game. And he always gets away with a couple too.

Many of his false starts have occurred on 3rd Down and a significant number of those have been in the Red Zone or have moved us out of Field Goal range.

Jay Gruden on Zach Brown saying he sees the writing on the wall: “nobody wrote anything on a wall... he hasn’t talked to me yet. Anyone has a problem they can come see me.”

Also players had a group huddle after practice, no coaches just players.
