Chargers S Derwin James needs surgery to repair his injured meniscus and will miss 6-8 months, according to Josina Anderson.
James is considered one of the most talented defensive backs in the NFL, but this injury likely sidelines him for the entire 2020 season after playing in just five games in 2019. James also missed time in college with a knee injury. The Chargers simply cannot catch a break with injuries, as every season seems to include major time missed by significant pieces. There is no true replacement for James' versatility, but Desmond King could receive the first opportunity. Joe Burrow's first game as a professional is becoming more intriguing for fantasy purposes.

Just comes off selfish. And that's been a big problem of this pandemic. Too many people don't see the big picture and don't care about anyone other than themselves. Sure Kirk, you may be just fine. But it's the people you could spread it to that's the problem.

Not that I would ever rely on Kirk for anything medical, part of the problem here is that such comments trivialize the risks to us all, and some might even think be influenced by these comments. It’s idiotic. Let’s see if he changes his tune if someone he knows or cares about gets Covid. How about he agree not to seek medical care if he gets it?
