I am disgusted! We laid a rotten egg on the field today. This was a game that could very well have been won. With so many opportunities we failed to capitalize on, bad decision making on both the coaching staff and the players, and horrible execution, we beat ourselves. Suisham needs to get canned. He has failed us too many times. Jason Campbell is reading the field horribly and has been mediocre at best. I'm ready for Colt Brennen's debut. Zorn needs to involve Sellers more throughout the game. He has the potential to be a very dangerous weapon for our offense and we need all the weapons we can get... Bottom line is that Coach Zorn needs light a well deserved fire under this team's ass!!

That's the most ignorant thing I've ever read on this board.

Next year is his last unless he improves. That's the end of his contract. Zorn must bet his future as a head coach on JC. I think he's good but will never get to the elite level. It's not just about stats. The best QB win games and score points. We are currently a low-scoring offense under JC. I know there are lots of WR drops, but many of JC passes that aren't thrown well. |

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
Next season maybe, we're done for now. If this team didn't show up this week or last week, when are they going to show up? Even if they back into the playoffs (very doubtful given the competitiveness in the NFC this year), what are they going to do in the playoffs? One and done? Then you have last year's team, so nothing more has been accomplished. ON the positive side, this team could have completely screwed things up, and being 7-5 is not that bad deal with a rookie coach. However, I think the flashes of greatness that the team had at the beginning of the season led us to dream big. To think this team has a chance is wishful thinking at best, because right now all the team can do is save face and hope to finish above .500.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
I think it's safe to say JC is not getting a Roethlisberger contract in the offseason. JC hasn't quite arrived yet has he? It very well might be the line or a new offense, but he is not worth franchise QB money right now period.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
First of all I am in the "Bench Campbell Club"...he's just average, not a real play maker. Question me all you want. However the staff refuses to call plays or game plans that suit Campbells strengths. No rollouts and no hurry up. Hell they dont even hurry up in the 2 minute drill!!! Why on earth do we get away from running the ball? I dont care if they stop us initially, keep at it. When our playoff chances are officially over, and they will be soon, Colt needs to be put in the game with the rest of our rookies. Rest Cp and let Betts earn the right to be back next year. And if he does, still trade him. Maybe then, will he be of some value to this team. Trade Value! To hell with optimism and support of this offense. The're bush league. I feel sorry for the guys that have spent their careers in Whashinton in vain, i.e Samuels, CP and for the most part Cooley, unless he cuts and runs before its too late. The offensive line can only be of partial blame. JC is never ready when he comes out of his drop, he steps into the rush on every play. He has no skill at escaping the rush. He only gets rid of the ball after the protection has broken down. Im sorry if it sounds like im venting...Im not. Campbell is not a playmaker. He only excells when everything falls in place, when all the planets align. Hes never going to make things happen.
