It'll be interesting to see what happens with DeShawn. He had a chance to play for a huge contract this postseason and he blew it big time. We can get him back cheap, but will we?

We need to. He's been labeled by several "experts" as one of the biggest free agent steals this year. We got him for less than a million and he played great. Ernie Grunfeld has a done a great job, and Deshawn is an example.

I agree that DeShawn was a steal, but man did he disappear down the stretch.
This was prime time for him to show he can produce offensively and I didn't see anything special from him while Antawn, Gil, and Tough Juice were out for extended periods of time. He was shooting such a high percentage with all three of those guys int eh game because he was wide open most of the time. Once he had to create his own shots he didn't do much. Not that we should get rid of him, but he doesn't deserve a big contract just to keep him here. |
