Re: Skins v Jags chat

My fellow Seagull Westbrook just missed a tackle and gave up a TD.

Re: Skins v Jags chat

remember when our best QB was the brother of a real NFL QB in Seattle!
What is with the DNA strategy of Redskins GM?

It didn't work that well that time as I recall..though I've been pulling for westbrook.....that kinda play just cannot happen

Hey, to someone who saw the first quarter, can you tell me how the 1st team offensive line looked in run-blocking?

O-line looked good. No huge breaks but they were opening up good holes.

Rock busted a 20ish yard run. I think that was the only first team run. But Henderson and Stroud were not playing for the Jags.

That makes a difference, for sure.

That is the key I was watching for most. For our offense to hum, we have to run the ball well. The line hasn't showed much so far this preseason. I wish they faced Stroud and Henderson and did well, then I'd feel confident.

JC looks like he can make some plays though, even when the running game isn't. Early in the season, we just need to play real defensive football and score just enough to win. Eventually the line and the running game will come together, and then we'll rip off a huge streak!
