My hope is that coach Zorn is our guy for years to come! I am sick of getting a new head guy every few years. To started over again and again is getting old! Let's started doing things the right way by drafting good young players and getting him players he needs to win! I really hope Shanahan is not here a year from now because this could get really bad fast!

Snyder has the football equivalent of ADD/ADHD.

I think the lack of continuity of coaching and systems (mainly offensive) is NOT about giving any one person a fair shot.

It's more of a lack of commitment. And without any real lasting commitment, there won't be any real success. I think the instability and lack of continuity is a result of not committing to any decisions that they (Snyder and Cerrato) have made.

Once they really commit to their decisions, that's when everyone will see the stability (and then growth) that everyone wants for the team and organization.

One of the things that Jerry Jones said that always made sense was when he talked about getting coaches who hadn't won a Super Bowl as those are usually the ones that are more motivated. Then again I'm sure Shannahan would have plenty of motivation after a year off and 10+ years since he won the Super Bowl. Though I wonder how Portis would feel about playing for Shannahan again. Also would be curious to see if Shannahan could pry Alex Gibbs away from Houston should Buge's retire.

Either way it seems like a logical fit especially if we draft Sanchez. Plus I'm sure that Shannahan would be more then happy to not only take Snyder's money but take his place in the structure the FO had under Gibbs, with Vinny playing head scout, Shannahan playing Coach and GM, and Snyder playing final decision maker.

In short though, I definitely but only if Zorn messes up.

At least Shanahan would keep us somewhat in the same passing offense, wonder if we'd do more zone blocking in the run.

I think that Campbell would be more suited towards Cowher's system though
