So Randy will be a backup this year? Hard to see that happening if he's fully healthy.

Yeah, maybe not, but I think there is as good a chance Rhinehart or Bridges beets him out. I watched the second Cowboys Redskins game, last week on NFL network. Between Jansen, Rabach, and Thomas, getting blown up, I was suprised that Campbell survived.

I expect Bridges or Rinehart to push Thomas pretty hard.

I sure hope so bro, because that position (RG) is honestly my biggest concern on the O-line.

I didn't realize you had so much authority in these matters T.O.Killa.

I agree with most of this, but I think Heyer starts ahead of Williams, Bridges will then back up Thomas at RG. I also agree with you on Orakpo. I think the coaches will eventually realize that Orakpo can't play SAM and will put him at LDE.

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster

Does anyone think that Griff could get cut?

It's a long shot. Before you say I'm crazy, think about the depth at DT. I know L. Alexander has lost weight to play DE, but that might not work too well & he might be best suited as a pass rushing DT. Then you have 5 DTs.

I don't know his cap status. I think he's still solid when healthy, but he's due for a drop off. I'm not saying Griff should get cut, but of the potential vet cuts we could see in camp, I put him, Daniels, R. Thomas & Wynn up there as possibilities, pending cap constraints.

I agree with you on Heyer and Bridges Vallin21. It's hard to tell about Orakpo right now. Either way, I expect him to be on the field OFTEN with the starting defense.

I agree with most of this but I think I would take Buzbee out and include Alexander or Wynn. I think Eddie Williams will be put on the PS which would make room for Glenn. Williams has been hurt and has a lot of catching up to do.

I think your right, but I hope that Buzbee shines and I dont think that Alexander will make it, because we have four tackles and Daniels will play tackle on at least some passing downs. As for Edwin Williams, i picked him because they have to have a back up center. I think unless one of the Olinemen that I picked steps up and plays center that Will Montgomery or Edwin Williams are a lock.

I will tell you what, I think this is the best roster we have had in 17 years. I am seriously excited.

I meant Eddie Williams the fullback. I agree T.O.Killa, this roster has some serious potential. Did Sellers have a backup last year?
