We'd have to extend his contract, and I just don't think it's worth the trouble. If Fred Davis were to receive every one of Moss' targets from this year, we'd be a better, more diverse offense for it.
He'd fit the position well though, and I'd like to keep our options open. I'm not anti-Moss, or against bringing him back. But with his contract expiring, now seems like the best time to end the Moss era. Or at least the most logical. Who knows, if he catches that ball against Dallas and goes the distance, I might be preaching something completely different. He drops it, and he just looks the part of a classic underachiever. That's not particularly good analysis, but with Moss, it was hardly unexpected.

I think Armstrong has quietly become our best route runner. Clearly Armstrong has the heart and the talent.
If Miles Austin can do it I don't why Armstrong can't. Let's get it!
