More importantly we have a guy that could easily become a 1,000 yard rusher.

Eli Manning put on a show after those first 2 drives. Actually the whole Giants team put on a clinic. Their run game...awesome...mixed w/ highly effective pitches and catches by Eli and his very good core of recievers.
I never thought much of Eli his first few years, but these last few, he's really proven to be an excellent QB. Last night, he just carved them up. |

Pretty funny how after the Indy game people were leaving the Giants for dead, Coughlin was going to get fired after the season, etc. Now everyone is falling all over them. It's a long season.
Stay medium folks. (Hate to quote Zorn but that line is probably the only thing he said that made sense.) |

Did you see the stat that Eli is 20-4 in October. That is pretty crazy.

Re: What's better for the Skins tonight -- A Cowboys or Giants win?
Fact of the matter is, the Giants are getting things together and right when they have an easier stretch in their schedule than the Redskins do. They can very easily be 8-2 before we know it and the Redskins are entering a very tough schedule after the bye. While I believe the Giants are beatable, they are still a very good team and one you do not want getting ahead in the division. While the second place team in the NFC East might make the playoffs, you can't count on that even if the second place team winds up 11-5.
While it is good that we pretty much don't have to worry about the Cowboys anymore (or at least at this point,) we still needed them to win to keep the Giants within reach. Yes, I know they are within reach right now, but that may not be the case after our bye week. The Redskins are really going to have to start playing better on offense if they are going to keep pace with the Giants.

I'll have to say the Giants look pratty dam good right now and Eli is playing lights out. He even looks like his brother when he is behind center.

And I will also add that it takes about 6 - 8 games to really see how good a team is going to be that season. The second half of the season is usually what separates the contenders from the pretenders. I think we are seeing that the Giants could possibly still be considered contenders despite their lackluster performance in the beginning.

Re: What's better for the Skins tonight -- A Cowboys or Giants win?
My fellow Redskins brethren..you all need to relax a bit on the Giants 5-2 record.
The Giants under Coughlin have gone 5-2 or better, the last 7 seasons I believe...That's just their "MO". What the Giants need to avoid,is what they do quite often with the exception to their 07' SB run...(which if you remember..they were a wildcard team at 9-7 and 6th seed, from that usual hot start) Is they tend to fold after a hot start. It's just what they do... There's no reason to believe the same can't happen again with 5 games remaining in the division,a game @Seattle at Quest field,@ Green bay,@Vikings and so on... Actually, with their HOT start and 4 game winning streak and rolling...I think their BYE came at the worst time...They actually have to wait 2 weeks to play again and cool off... Now that doesn't mean they can't go 12-4 or whatever, but there's still a lot aof football guys... We beat the Lions this weekend and this Division gets very interesting ![]() HTTR!! ace

It was tough even watching that game. I was hoping homo wasn't to hurt to finish the game so he could come back for the win but then on the winning play get crushed again and be on IR for the rest of the season. I think that would have been best for us lol
