It's not that the Redskins were suddenly unprepared, its that our opponents played largely mistake free football and this is what the Redskins will look like whenever their opponents don't make mistakes.

Yeah I agree. Plus when you drop 10 passes and don't tackle, you're just not going to hang with a team that's playing mistake free all day.

I was genuinely excited for a possible playoff run after last week. It was a "good" loss. Lol. I was really excited about next year. Thought we were that close. Now. Not so much. That was pure crap in every sense of the word. Players didnt show up. Coaches didnt prepare them well. Some real questionable calls on O. Dont even want to mention the D because i might smash my phone. Sav Rocca and a missed extra point? If the players are going to be held accountable for their piss poor performance than who is held accountable for the players in the first place? Well its almost November and that means free agency talk. Some things never change. We got a great qb and a great rb. We got a couple other guys on both sides of the ball and that is it. Last week turnovers. This week drops. Next week maybe bad penalties. Shanallen made this bed and now they have to lie in it. Im thinking it feels like a slab of rock about now.

Exactly! And our rookie qb is outplaying there rookie Phenom. Skins have more talent on offense believe it or not than Indy.

The rookie phenom might not have RGIII but has a couple come from behind wibs and is also a rookie. My point is the skins have more talent yet can't seem to win the games they should.

The skins have been in every game this year with the exception of this one. The only game I had them winning that they didn't so far is agains STL...a tough loss

Here are their losses

Lost at Pittsburg
Lost at NYG
Lost vs the undefeated Falcons
Lost a close one to Bengals (a playoff team last year)
Lost by 3 at STL

You really had them winning most of those games?

The fact is, this team is better on offense, worse on defense. Pick your poison. You don't go after a guy like RGIII, surround him with a few weapons, and in the same year expect to improve your defense...with all the injuries (suspension) we have had I am not the least bit surprised that our D is as bad as it has been.

The skins will be lucky to end up .500 when it is all said and done, and that is about where most "experts" expected this team to be. I thought they had a chance to surprise some if they were able to stay healthy, but that is not the case.

All in all, I guess my point is I think they are about where they should be given the totality of circumstances dealt to them this season thus far.

Yes, they should have beaten St. Louis, Cincy and the Giants.

Doesn't excuse it, but without those drops, this is a massively different game.

Got ejected for being stupid. But there were far uglier things in this game.

Nothing that hasn't happened all year to our defense

As far as head coach watch goes, it sure looks like Norv will be available next year.

Championship!
