I know you were watching the Redskins/Eagles on Sunday because it was on during the same time slot as Cowboys/Browns. But I made the trip to Dallas Sunday and was in the stands while the Dallas offense stunk the joint up. Doug Free was a revolving door at RT.

I did give more credit to the Dallas "D" though. I changed my first prediction from 31-3 before I posted.

I don't think Skins score 31 on the Dallas defense, But they score enough to win.

I predict 3 things:

1) Being abnormally drunk prior to the game thanks to Thanksgiving.
2) Polishing off a turkey/cranberry/mashed potato sandwich by halftime,
3) Mother****ing pain.

Win.

Romo is either going to have a HUGE day or have a career worst day. Nothing in-between.

THAT'S how this rivalry goes. I think we will shut down the run pretty well, but if we can score early (STOP DEFERRING!) and go up like we did against the Eagles, I think we win and embarrass them at home.

Sadly, one thing I want ALMOST as much as the Skins playing for the postseason next Monday is to STOP HEARING this shit about the Cowboys playoff chances after they barely beat the Browns at home.

It has been disgusting. It was the Browns and you didn't look all that sharp.

I can envisage a Redskins humiliation of the Cowboys the like of which we have never seen. This squad will actually 'get' the rivalry aspect and play way beyond their talents.

Either that or I'll be hiding under my friends couch, in the fetal position and cursing everything Cowboys related. That's happened too many times for me to want to have to go through it again.

I don't want a 2005 style victory, I want the Cowboys to be ashamed and their team to be synonymous with abject failure and misery from henceforth, the stadium looking like a ghost-town by the start of the fourth quarter.

It may not be a ghost town with all the Baylor fans there supporting Griff. I'm hoping it's more like a home game for him, Hell, he's played in there before, nothing new to him.

This is the truth. I could easily see Cowboys Stadium rocking RGIII chant, maybe better than at FedEx, and ya know what, that would be an AWESOME Thanksgiving day game.

I think Griffin plays best in big games, and gets rivalries. I am so high on the kool-aid right now, and 26hrs to go. UGH!

Re: Redskins v. Dallas Turkey Day Edition Predictions

I just want the Skins to crush any and ALL media-related Cowboys stories the rest of the year. My hate for that team almost matches my love for the Redskins solely because of the ridiculous coverage they get. Basically until they're mathematically eliminated, it's something like, "Well, if the Cowboys can win their next 8 games, the Mayan calendar is correct and we get the REAL voodoo dolls (not the fake ones you assholes got last time), we MIGHT be able to talk about the Cowboys the ENTIRE football season."

I know they're the most popular football team (but also the most hated, not just by Skins fans) so it makes sense the media talks about them, but sometimes the stories are just garbage only to be able to say the word Cowboys.
