To think Tom Brady was a 6th round pick is amazing compared to 3 first round draft picks and the differences in talent passing be so wide. Hope I'm wrong in a big way. Maybe just maybe this is the O-line and Kyle Shanahan's fault.

RG3 seemed mighty happy after the game high fiving team members laughing with players etc. I don't get it.
I thought RG3 was ok last night. The stat people will say he played great, but he held the ball several times where there were plays to be made....but he did make some plays, just not enough. But he also has no help. I would like to see him with a better line and another WR or two before we can truly judge him.

Understand completely and I hope you are correct.

I think you are looking at this the wrong way. While we still need to find out whether RG3 is a franchise qb, the expectations are the same. If Tom Brady was a first rounder the expectations for him would be the same. Russell Wilson isn't held to lower standards because he was a third rounder a bad season is a bad season. We as fans may place higher value on it but if you are putting them out there as a starter it matters not where they were drafted.

Re: Skins Giants postgame

When the schedule was announced, this was one of the games I was really looking forward to. Thought this would be one of the keys to the Giants winning the division, just like last year's game at RFK (I don't care what it is really called) was the difference. Just a disappointing lousy season for both teams. After the Giants lost last week, part of me was hoping they would lose out to show management that major changes were needed. Now, if they manage to finish 7-9 or 8-8, they might be under the impression that it was a terrible start that just put them behind the 8-ball and they could never get out of it.

Re: Skins Giants postgame

I don't think I've ever want a season to end more than this one. There is plenty of blame to go around. However I don't ever want to see Kyle Shanahan again. Enough with the high school plays. This is NFL ball. Go coach high school if you want to run that crap. I honestly think Florida State has a better offense than we do.

Re: Skins Giants postgame

I went to bed with 8.5 minutes left,I've never done that before, glad I didnt stay up to see that mess. What a fkup by the refs, but Davis should have caught that ball.Best receiver on team suddenly forgets how to catch at end of game.Shanahan makes another bad decision on a challenge, more special teams mistakes.....

We did have a bright spot,RG3 probably played his best game of the season. He showed what he could do when he gets the kind of protection Tom Brady does.He probably couldnt believe how much time he had to pass in the first half.

He did have the one long pass that was way overthrown, same problem he's had all season, but when we needed it he threw the bullet to Davis who dropped it,his receivers really let him down this game

And the defense gave them the field goal on the turnover. This offense is atrocious.

This team is a failure on so many levels right now. Painfully bad on both sides of the ball and in the coaching ranks. A good lesson learned for all the overhype and super-inflated expectations going into next season. Not to mention the arrogance from the head coach, quarterback, and the media here.

18 million in extra cash isn't going to come close to fixing everything that's wrong with this team. That's if any free agents want to come to this dysfunctional mess.

That's what happens when A.) U have no threats at all on offense, Garcon is the only guy that people respect.

B.) When u run a shitty college style Option stupid ass offense with Moss's old ass in the back field.

C.) When the right side of our line is incredibly bad, All of Tuck's sacks came on that side.

D.) Morris hardly played in the 2nd half

The play calling got complacent quite quickly last night. I would like some reasons for that. We clearly didn't make adequate in game adjustments.

When we got the turnover early second half, Kyle called triple option to the short side. When Moss or Garcon motioned to the backfield, the Giants re aligned their Linebackers and shifted to the short side. First, why are we running a triple option to the short side, second, when we motioned WR to the backfield everybody knows what we are about to run and when you see the Giants adjust with LB (thats what good coaches do, they make adjustments at halftime) you need to get out of the play. Its a trainwreck on offense.

Yep We never make any adjustments, I knew we weren't going to keep scoring like we did in the 1st

Even more first of all, why are we running the triple option period?
