Two huge TD runs by Bell is what killed us.

There were bad calls on both sides.

over 400 yards of offense but only 19 points. Tough loss to live with.

Yeah, Bell killed us today - but that reversal on the safety play was totally bogus!

Re: Skins-Broncos game thread

what this broncos game showed me is that our defense needs to get its act together. i haven't seen us play run d that bad in a while. and it comes at a time when our next opponent just so happens to be one of the best rushing teams in the league.

No doubt, but no where near the magnitude on both sides.

Re: Skins-Broncos game thread

Run D broke down on 2 plays, other than that it was a good effort. Still need to find a way to get some turnovers though.

Naw - there were some questionable calls for us (and a couple of non-holding calls when one of our O-Lineman tackled one of their defenders).

Far too many penalties on ourselves. That 50+ FG attempt looked like it would have been good but for the offside penalty.

Re: Skins-Broncos game thread

I wouldn't have felt too good if we had converted on the two point conversion and won it in OT either. And the critics wouldn't have been impressed as they aren't already. We had an advantage against thier CBs and didn't look to exploit them. The weather was bad for both teams so that can't be an excuse. DENs kicker and punter tilted the scales in the field position game. And yes, allowing two big runs for TDs dug too deep a hole.

the safety and the pass interference not called agianst the lb playing cooley, were devestating game shifting calls

A win, is a win no matter how we get it... I can care less about what the critics have to say

Re: Skins-Broncos game thread

Was it just me or did it look Brunell had a clear path to just run that 2-point conversion in?

Re: Skins-Broncos game thread

this team was a great team that we played. We got nearly 450 yards on the 6th best defense.
