They should have asked Kirk about Bruce Allen to see how he really feels.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?

I'm good with anything the Skins decide to do with Kirk as long as this contract issue is resolved quickly.

What I don't want is for Kirk's potential contract to become a roadblock to signing Zac Brown and other FA's who will make the team better.

Ideally, the Skins will make Kirk a solid offer and then proceed as if he will not be here next season, including meeting with FA QB's. If Kirk's side doesn't decide to negotiate and get a deal done before Keenum or some other QB signs here, then the Skins can simply rescind their offer to Kirk and move forward. At this point, the Skins management needs to get back in the driver's seat.

Well if we want Alex Smith (I hope not) but if we do then we'll have to trade for him, apparently they aren't just letting him walk.

Here is another thing that Snyder fucked up big time with this whole fiasco. He ultimately has fucked his stadium deal too. Ain't nobody going to pay big dollar for seat licenses and tickets for a shit or mediocre team, and one without a franchise QB. Not happening.

Jacksonville isn't going to pay Cousins north of 25 million. Ain't happening. Bortles has been pretty solid. They're already in the 2nd round w/out him.

What I got from that the thing w/ 106.7 is he wants free agency. He wants to test the market obviously. He wasn't beating on the table saying he wanted to be a Redskin and wanted to retire here.

Bortles hasn't been solid except the month of December and we saw him today. He stinks. Jacksonville has plenty of salary cap room(19 million more if they cut Bortles). Of course they'd pay him.

Just don't see them paying what he wants. They'll be other options in free agency that will be cheaper if they decide to replace Bortles.

Kind of ready to move on from Cousins. If he doesn't want to be a Redskin and play here then so be it. He's not an elite QB yet he's being portrayed as one. It's been three years in a row where he's basically played like dog shit in the last game or games of the year. Sure go to Denver or Arizona and play behind those POS o-lines.

I think the Redskins will trans tag him and see what happens....

He's wanted free agency for the past two years. They should have done a non exclusive last year and let him see what the market for him really was.

Bortles sucked today and overall is very inconsistent even with all of those young shiny toys he has to play with. If I was Jacksonville I would be interested in KC, especially if Bortles gets bombed by the Steelers next weekend. KC would have a great WR corp to work with and would have a year like he did in 2016 statistically, if not better. Blake had a good year in 2017, but still is a very inconsistent QB, even more inconsistent than KC. Buffalo will be a suitor for KC. Hell at least a dozen teams could be in the mix for him. I say just draft one or two of these QBs in the draft. Any money saved can bolster the D and give the new QB a real WR or two.

Jags would be fools not to go after Kirk

A lot of bad QB play this weekend. We have a top 10 QB and we don’t want to sign him.

Went to family dinner tonight and this was brought up. Qb play is lacking across the league...Cousins plays trails only Brees this weekend. Give him a real running game and we could be in the playoffs next year. We must sign cousins and we must draft a RB and add an interior Olineman.

It's not a "we don't want to sign him", it's a he doesn't want a long term deal here. Period. Dan and Bruce dicked around 3 years in a row and now his free agency is going to be on his terms and doubtful here.

Yeah I think everyone forgets Kirk denied a deal last yr reportedly worth $20 plus million. That shows you he really didn't want a LTD from BA, more of a F YOU to his face.
