Per multiple Twitter sources, Falcons fined $350K and must forfeit highest 5th round 2016 pick for pumping fake noise crowd in the Georgia Dome.

Brown's Ray Farmer fined and suspended 4 games for texting in-game.

NFL saying that it was an individual infraction - Farmer acted alone without knowledge of upper management so no loss of draft picks and no fine to team.

Doesn't Farmer sit in the owner's box during games? It's not like this wasa one time text. It apparently went on for some time.

"What am I doing Mr. Haslam? Oh, nothing really. Just texting my daughter again about Johnny Football."

Yeah, Farmer set with that idiot Jimmy Haslam, who already is a crooked individual in his own right. You damn right he knew, and was the one probably having Farmer text down to the sidelines. That's some Vinny Cerrato level shit right there.

Im not sure how GM salaries work, I imagine its a yearly salary with bonuses like many of us. So the sting imo is that Farmer will miss 1/12th of his yearly salary? that hurts. I imagine he will conveniently get an add'l bonus to offset.

If the GM is paid like a player (unlikely), that means Farmer misses 1/4 of his annual salary. thats like "i cant pay my mortgage" type stinging.

I think having anything to do with the Browns is punishment enough. Consider it time served. Of coarse many would say the same thing about a certain organization true to my heart....

And they would be correct. Life with the Snyder Skins isn't easy. Jack Kent Cooke, you are sorely missed around here.

I wonder whether armed with a ouiji board or by means of a seance we can channel Jack Kent Cooke and bypass current ownership entirely. Who's with me?

Re: All things off season 2015.

Besides the rumor that Snyder threw a hissy fit that Jason Reid was going to have a radio show on his radio station .... I havent heard a peep about Snyder in quite some time. Bruce is a good buffer but still, the DS is A OK with me right now.

The DS wants to win. Hopefully he continues to spend more money on operations and infrastructure. There is no reason why we should have one of the lowest scout payrolls or poorly maintained facilities or crap food for players or a long list of other things he has gone cheap on in the past.

5 years ago the Orioles weight lifting facility for training camp was literally equipment placed outdoors under a white temporary tent you see at outdoor weddings. Now with a new facility they are the reigning AL East champs!

"I would never have foreseen where we are and where we've been in four years," said Hogarty, named the Major League strength-and-conditioning coach in 2010, of a program that through 2009 was using an outdoor tent to house the organization's spring weight room."
