Our defense should be absolutely embarrassed by there play in the 4th quarter. Haslett gets no pass in my book, he has alot to answer to on there play in the 4th. Stupid penalties on the Oline and our god damn special teams sucks as usual. This one hurts but we deserve to lose playing like that in the 4th.

Re: Redskins vs. Texans Gameday Thread

Only bright spot is that we were competitive against a team people thought we had no chance of beating them due to an anemic offense.

But really, this is a cruel loss because this is a game we ABSO-FReAKING-LUTELY SHOULD HAVE won.

This will be be a big morle buster for the skins. They deserved to lose this game cause the secondary could not contain a johnson. Plous until we get a run game when can win with just a passing attack. Thanks mike and hasslett for a big loss.

No what killed this win was a non exsistent running game to close the game out.

Of course if Galloway catches the ball in the endzone, game over

We need to further invest in the trenches. Our lack of a true NT and running game is clearly evident and Heyer sucks balls.

Heyer sucks balls at LT, he does OK at RT. They should've moved J. Brown over instead of Heyer, or made sure Heyer had help.

I just got in from work why was Doughty & Horton in the game when the Texans TE caught the ball? Where was Landry?

Re: Redskins vs. Texans Gameday Thread

Sure we can look at the silver lining, and talk about how the Redskins went toe to toe with one of the best offenses in the league but the bottom line is this: We had a 27-10 lead. 17 points? That's a cushion that a good team doesn't blow. Instead we let them waltz down the field, score, crush us on defense, keep scoring, we had them stopped at 4th and 10 and we put poor Reed Doughty on m.f.ing Andre "top 5 receiver" Johnson and they scored the tying touchdown. They blocked a field goal that would've given us a 10 point lead and put the game out of reach, and we let them throw all day on us until they got in field goal position.

Nobody is gonna remember how the Redskins balled all day until the 4th quarter, they're gonna remember us having a 17 point lead and blowing it. I've seen Pro Bowl defenses that played better.

Re: Redskins vs. Texans Gameday Thread

Once again I stress myself out over a skins game. I was thinking "Ok 27-10 I can finally relax and enjoy a game." Doubtful, everything went to shit after that blocked FG.
