Too late man, they're clearing the slipway and paging the lifeboat crew as we speak.

Re: Falcons pregame thread
Big picture the Giants and Lions have been far worse in recent years.
Either way, bottom line is people need to step back off the ledge. A win against ATL and we're 2-2, right where most of us would have thought we'd be. |

Yeah the Lions are worse in every picture no doubt. The Giants won those two and it may have been ten years ago but id take that in a heartbeat and id still be feeling good about it. Yes clearly we can be 2-2 after Sunday. It is more the manner in which we have lost that has me feeling hopeless. The run of games after Atlanta is going to be brutal if this D doesn’t figure something out. 2-2 can become 2-10 real easy based on what I have seen. Just trying to look at it from a non fan perspective- aka putting the kool aid down. And if i do that I see a top 5 pick right now. I know things can change. Let us just beat Atlanta- maybe it will boost our confidence and we can ride on that. |

Re: Falcons pregame thread
Just look back to last year, we were 2-7 at one point and all seemed lost. CHILL.

This team has too many talented players to not turn it around.
Things fall in line this Sunday. Skins 24 Falcons 20 *my bold prediction - everyone starter on the DL gets at least a .5 sack |

Re: Falcons pregame thread
Just watched the All 22 of Falcons @ Giants.
I'm intrigued. This upcoming match up is very hard to predict IMO. I could see it going absolutely any way: shoot out, low score close game, blow out one way or the other. Very cliché, but once again it's all about the trenches IMO: - Their Dline is not very good, but they can generate pressure every now and then, #97 Grady Jarrett has a nice swim move. Our Oline is coming of a strong outing against the Bills, if they are up to the task, Heinicke could have a really nice game, especially if he extends plays just a bit, there are holes to be found in their zone coverages. - Their Oline isn't that great either, but the neither was any of the OL they faced so far, Chargers with a rookie LT, Bills with a sketchy line, and we still couldn't generate much pressure. So IF, and as you can see it's a big fat all caps "if", our DL finally steps it up, we have the tools to take control of this game. But if this D as a whole is the same that we saw the first 3 weeks, Matt Ryan and his TEs + Calvin Ridley will have a lot of fun with Bostic, Fuller and Cie... One good thing is I think they can be run on. Deion Jones is symbolic of really good talent wasted on a shitty squad.
