That list is why after a decade I decided to switch my avatar. McNabb is the last quarterback to play for us to play in a super bowl. I guess technically it was Rex but whatever I don't care.

yeah that list is a 99% of why this team has sucked for so long as has Chicago other than a few great defensive years.

Re: Around the NFL week 5

That list is Snyder, and or everyone he has hired - the Cerratos and the Allens. That list is dysfunction from the top on down. Yet after all of that we still hold out hope that things will change. Lol. Right up until a couple days ago. We will start to think we can finally right this ship again by Wednesday. That we can turn our season and our future around with one victory over KC and we will figure out exactly how we can do it and why we can do it … until we don’t do it. Then rinse and repeat. Let’s face it we are 100 percent the bottom of the barrel in the NFL. Sure there might be other teams stuck down here in the sludge with us. Not many, but some.

It is like being in an awful marriage and divorce is not an option. We are destined to be lied to, cheated on, and having our hearts broken over and over and over again. The best thing we can do is just get numb to it and go to our happy place.

Don’t get me wrong, I aint putting money on this team, but the “anything can happen “ thought will creep into your head at some point before the game. Regardless you are still in a bad marriage with no way out. Lol.
And I knew we sucked after the Giants game.
Felt it coming in week one, but figured week one is the biggest crap shoot of the year and hadn’t let it crush me yet.

Damn. Anti-gay, anti-female refs, anti-De Smith? Jon Gruden, fuck were you thinking?

Also I'd love to hear Bruce Allen's responses just to know whether my assumption that Allen is a douche is true or not. I need more than "The culture is damn good actually"

Sadly, this doesn't surprise me all that much. I could totally see him being like that.

It says something that Gruden felt comfortable talking like this on an email to Allen. I can only imagine things that were said behind closed doors when they worked together in Tampa, and maybe even as far back as his first run in Oakland.

No way was Gruden going to survive this once more stuff came out w/ him talking anti gay when you have a openly gay player.

These guys gotta be complete idiots, you never put anything in an email that you don't want coming back on you later.

Apparently it was related to the WFT investigation...

And Allen was actually using his fair share of homophobic slur:

"Privately, Allen and Gruden appeared to have few boundaries in expressing homophobic and transphobic language. In one email from 2015 that includes Droste, McVay and others, Gruden crudely asked Allen to tell Bryan Glazer, whose family owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where Gruden coached until 2008, to perform oral sex on him. Allen said Glazer would “take you up on that offer.”"
