I wouldn't say that so fast 1st of all:

Brady was overlooked by every team in the league an average of 5 times during the draft.

He also didn't take over the pats until his second season.

I am not saying Campbell = Brady but you just don't know what JC is capable of.

Hey, you are Diverting my point! The question is DO YOU TRUST JOE GIBBS. The Campbell/ Brady was a nexample of why I do nor trust Gibbs. Other than the fact that he is not The God Coach any longer, he (and Snuder ) are devious and not very convincing liaes! Why not come right out and say that their plan is to replace Ramsey with Brunell for ONE or TWO games and then bring in the rookie. Gibbs and Snyder want to see a RETURN on THEIR INVESTMENT!!

Understand....Dear CONCHA??

Re: Do you trust Gibbs?

its fine (and sensible) to trust coach Gibbs's conviction over your own. but stop pretending you've never questioned him.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU doubted Gibb's decision to keep Brunell in so long last year.

please stop claiming the bandwagon to yourselves this year or put an asterisk next to the slogans where you replace the word God for Gibbs.

I think SUNRA was pretty supportive of the decision if I remember correctly. And I'm sure there were many more.

Re: Do you trust Gibbs?

SUNRA has disputed Gibb's decisions on other things pretty recently, and also felt the heat of the sudden Gibbs 'born again'. as for many more, i'd love to see that poll. wonder if there's an archive.

point is anyone can change their minds, Gibbs too of course, just don't forget you once held a different point of view. there's been a lot of false righteousness on the board lately.

Just like you said, anyone can change their minds even Gibbs. Does that make him untrustworthy?

what poll are you talking about?

early on this thread I asked what a poll that asked "did you trust Gibbs LAST YEAR?" would look like.

seems a lot of people have confused faith with trust, and just because we want the answers means we aren't fans or back coach Gibbs. not only is that wrong, its also inappropriate considering some of the sources. that's all.

So does that mean we can't change our minds??

Don't act like you've never changed your view on something when circumstances change or you see another side of things.

If Brunell plays well and the team is winning are you telling me you won't change your mind?

Or will you keep pointing to last year and keep insisting he sucks, even if he turns out to be improved over last year?

I was scrolling here and found this post and I really want to call to attention that you are correct. I am totally against the switch, but I DO totally hope I eat my words and I would rather be completely wrong than Gibbs be wrong. Yeah I'll be happy if we start winning with Brunell, but only time will tell.

yeah for me, it's not a matter of IF with coach Gibbs, it's a matter of when. it's that 'when' thats a bitch though.

hopefully, the mistakes he'll make getting into the modern NFL are over and he's not just repeating his first year one with Brunell. whats worrying is that even if Brunell magically gets younger and lights it up tomorrow night (here's hoping), whats it going to be mean for the future?

I do feel comparing Joe Gibbs to God is very Sacrilegious. I also feel nobody on this planet deserves such a comparison. Now, all the great coaches in the league have made questionable decisions. Coach Gibbs wasn't perfect in his first tenure. Jimmy Johnson wasn't perfect, Bill Walsh wasn't perfect, Bill Belichick isn't perfect.....I don't believe any Gibbs supporter, or at least most, have never questioned decisions Gibbs has made. That isn't the point of the thread.

The question is, "Do you trust Joe Gibbs?" Has Joe Gibbs given any reason for us not to trust him? Has he given us reason to question him....of course! He always has. Every coach will eventually give us reasons to question their decisions. However, it's the big picture that alot of us are looking at. While some may question Gibbs more than others, most of us have to agree that Joe Gibbs makes his decisions based on what he feels is best for this team, and what gives us the best opportunity to win. We can only judge that by what we see on television. We're not there in the locker rooms or on the practice field. Therefore, there is no reason why the coach would not be trusted. He's there with the team constantly.....we're not! That fact, coupled with his accomplishments make it a no-brainer to trust Coach Gibbs.

The thing about the bandwagon is simply this: whether out of pure emotion or sincere thoughts, several have displayed down right hatred of the coach. Even one guy stated he wanted Joe Gibbs and Mark Brunell killed. I do believe those types of people only see the small portions of the picture, and refuse to take a step back and see the entire picture. Those of us who are on the "Bandwagon" are simply there because we trust Joe Gibbs and right or wrong, we'll stick with the team and go down in flames if that is what happens. That's isn't to say we're never going to question Joe Gibbs or assume he's right 100% all the time. It just simply means, we're not going to be some type of weak minded fan who throws in the towel half way through the season or even as stupid as it has sounded to me....to throw in the towel after the first game of the season - a WIN at that! To me, that's not enjoying the game of football!
