I wonder if this humbling experience of getting fired on national news and talk of his attitude and possible gang issues might change him for the better a la Chris Carter? You have to think he is reflecting hard on this embarrassing experience, one that he created.
Before making a contract offer though I would be 100% sure in what if anything substantial the Eagles found outside of football that might of made them cut him. Or was it just a locker room issue?
Could he be a suspect in a serious crime like Hernandez?

We will see.

I don't care get him or don't get him, but I have a feeling if we gave away next year's 2nd round pick to get him some people would be OK with it then.

Cut Hankerson and Polumbus -save 3.3 mill in cap space draft best RT prospect and sign Jackson for 5yr 50mill 24mill guaranteed (about 7.5 mill cap hit). I admit I am feeling like Hankerson brings nothing to the table and the offense with RGIII, Garcon, Djax, Roberts, Morris would have scary potential with a solid RT in the draft.

And DJax knows how to him some punts against the NfC East!

I think Hankerson turns in his best year yet this season. I say no to DJax, too many potential issues for that hefty price tag. We already have a number one, why splurge on a 1a if we need help with RT and safety?

Maybe at the skill positions. Certainly not the o-line, and with no o-line all of them suffer. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Rg3, garçon, Morris, d jax, Roberts, helu, reed, Hank, Robinson, Chris Thompson

Those ballers against the defenses of giants, eagles and cowboys? Folks...

And we are def adding another pass catching tight end, most likely in the draft.

At this point any OL help you bring in other than with our first pick is of negligible upgrade value. If RT is going to be addressed it would be best to do it between pick number 29 and 38. Since I doubt we trade up maybe we trade down a few spots and gain a late pick but basically pick 34 needs to be an RT to improve the line any. That would mean finding safeties among camp cuts or bringing in Clark and seeing what our young guys do.

We're pursuing.

Redskins express interest in former Eagles WR DeSean Jackson

What exactly does a 3-time Pro Bowl WR who had his best season last year need to prove? The idea of a one-year "prove it" deal for D-Jax is ridiculous.

Agreed. Not doubting anything you say, just stating that its a dang problem. Im completely on board with seeing what the young safeties can do btw.

I'm tired if d jax proving it against the skins twice a year. I get it and quite frankly tired of it

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread

I do not believe this. I think this is one of two scenarios.
1. DJax agent is trying to add leverage to get a better deal out of the Chief or Jets.
2. Some sports reporter needs to publish something and since the weather is nice, throws out a canned article. “The Redskins show interest in (add free agents name here)”
An unnamed source within the organization says the Redskins are going after (add free agent name here). Blah, Blah, blah, etc….
