We are struggling in no small part because he GAVE UP some of his executive coaching powers. This would not be the season to blame Gibbs because he has less control than he did last season.

I will say this: since he isn't calling the offense, he really isn't much more than an overseeing figurehead at this point.

And his interviening may be the best possible solution.

If Gibbs was exposed to the NY media, they would eat his lunch during the pressers.

Quite honestly, that's the best defense someone could give the man. Im not buying it, but its his best defense and I applaud you for that!

Do a poll. This should be the question:

Who is the most responsible person for the current state of the Washington Redskins:

A. The Players
B. Dan Snyder
C. Joe Gibbs
D. Taylor Jacobs
This is quite skewed! You have said nothing about Gregg Williams who makes all the decisions about the defense and Joe Gibbs has said this over and over again, yet you say nothing about the defense. You say nothing about the rookie mistake of Jason Campbell throwing the INT when he should've ate the football. You say nothing about Campbell not seeing a wide open Chris Cooley on that drive where we should've scored on. You say nothing about the INT Campbell throws that put the nail in the coffin for us. You say nothing about our thin secondary, the injuries we've had to valuable guys like Springs for instance. All you have to say is it's all Joe Gibbs fault. If this is true, then are you willing to give Joe Gibbs the credit for getting this team in the playoffs and winning a playoff game in his second year back as head coach?

My point is, there are plenty of variables the equate to our losing season. Sure, Joe Gibbs is going to take all the blame, but to answer YOUR poll....everybody is to blame for our team this year. That isn't to say I think everyone needs to be fired, but everybody needs to improve on their job.

Im going to disagree with you here, I don't think Gibbs offense has only gotten better since he's been here, I think it was pretty pathetic from the get go.

That makes too much sense.

It's easier to sit back and blame one guy.

Which is why we brought in Al Saunders. But you're still talking about Joe Gibbs' offense, when it isn't Joe Gibbs' offense anymore, nor is it Joe Gibbs' calling the plays.

Again. Whose decision was it to bring in Greg Williams and to let Greg Williams have complete autonomy with defensive personnel?

Nobody was complaining the last two years when he had a top 10 D.

Good Bye Joe.
i loved the playcalling, heavy run, running well, but campbell just didnt execute with a lot of throws and he made a huge mistake that really i think cost us the game, the 1st int. we were on our way to scoring, campbell just didnt execute, i dont fault the coaches.
