4-2 the rest of the way?

Well, I'm eating crow in shame because I didn't think we'd win today. Thank God we did however or the playoff picture would look very bleak. Here's what I'm talking about: Both Dallas and Tampa will have better records as of turkey day so at least temporarily we'll lose the 6th seed. If we can pull off a miracle and win next Sunday we'll get the 6th seed back from Dallas. If we lose... we fall even further behind Tampa and Dallas and then behind Atlanta (probably). Aside from all that it looks like we'll really need at least 10 wins to have a chance for January - the NFC South is coming on very strong between CAR, ATL and the f'n Bucs.

Looking at schedules closer I think Tampa will win their div. Carolina has a little tougher schedule so we'll be in a horse race against Dallas, Carolina and maybe Atlanta. Playoffs still look very questionable.

Agreed... and I hope you're right about getting a win. So hard to tell how we play on such an emotional occasion.

My take on it is, if we can beat Arizona and Arizona gave the Giants a run for their money, then we can beat the Giants.

In no way will it be easy, it's gonna take a lot of O-line pass protection and a good running game. Its possible, but we absolutely cannot have a showing like the Dallas or the Steelers game.

nfc record is going to be crucial for us to get into the playoffs as it is the most likely tiebreaker if we are tied with any team out of the division and head to head. right now it is 6-3, we absolutely cannot drop more than 1 nfc game imo the rest of the way

We just have to play week by week. At least we are not out of the playoffs yet. Next week does not look good. Let hope we play close and that could be a wake up call. Our injuries are not too bad this year. We normally turn it up down the stretch. Lets hope this year is no different then the past.

I am hoping we can win next week, but I don't hold a lot of hope. Still I think that with the schedules as they are, we can lose 1 more game,(next week) and still get in, but I wish Carolina had won today!
