I want to truly explore Trample the Elderly's philosophical dichotemy. Tryfuhl, glad you made your comments. Is it me or did Cooley look like a straight fruit cake while being carted off the field with his bright blonde hair do? LOL!!!

You need to stand at the position of attention when you speaketh my name.

Why do you need to write long drawn out paragraphs when a few words will suffice?

How about this? Screw that big mouthed, prima dona, washed up, cry baby bitch RB named Clinton Portis. Make a play!

ummm can I get some action on that bet? You expect us to beat ATL and Dallas on the road the way we're playing? and our 1 home game the next 3 games is Denver.... If I have to watch them lose might as well make some money!!!

I think Portis has lost a step but I think he'd be doing a lot better if we had a better oline. I believe that the way the oline is playing makes him look worst than he really is.
Because of the reasons expressed it's difficult to guage how much more effective he would be if circumstances were different.

The one thing that has tarnished Clinton's reputation more so than his production/or lack thereof is the fact he somehow continues to open himself up to controversy, brightning the spotlight and fueling more and more negative publicity. He still has value, but probably would be more effective in a reduced role.

He seems to be posting just fine to me.

Can't make a play when it's not there to make.

Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome

People here want to support their all-Pro back, but it's Portis' attitude that has finally worn thin among people.

When we lose, it's always everyone's fault but his. I hate people who have to blame others to feel better.

Portis' act of dressing by himself and keeping himself out of practice and stuff makes him appear like a Prima Donna....they bashed T.O. for the same stuff...Portis is starting to get bitter because he knows physically he is close to being done and he knows he probably won't play another two years...

Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome

I think the problem is that most teams aren't going to offer anything substantial for CP, at this point in his career. CP is older and getting injury prone. He is really in horrible shape right now...And his salary is almost as bloated as his ego...and i dont think any other NFL club wants to pay that much for a guy who has more yesterdays than tomorrows....
