You guys were in heaven with DM, now he has underperformed, so now you are ready to see if one of the lamest NFL Qbs in recent memory is up to snuff? Shit, I would take Frerotte back before that fat, lazy bastard!!!!!!! And for once I am totally serious. Hell, we should have kept Chase Daniel. He would have been better than Russell. OMG, we used to make fun of him all the time in here!!!!!

We're not in that position. We brought in for a workout, if we sign him it would be for...wait for it...the vet min. There's a huge (no pun intended) in making JaMarcus Russell your starter and committing millions of dollars in him and planting him at the end of your bench for relative chump change and see if he shows any signs of progress. No one is saying he's going to roll in here (again, no pun intended) and become our starter and lead us to an 8 game winning streak then coast to the Super Bowl. And Ghetto...preach!

Not only that, the talent-evaluators all had him pegged as the #1 freaking pick. Brady and Green were unknowns just trying to make a roster. With Russell, MANY EXPECTED A DAMN PRO BOWLER and instead got 2 years of shit. Sanchez, Stafford, Cutler, Freeman, all have been showing SOME SORT OF PLAY-MAKING ABILITY. Russell did not when he had his chance.
