I'm curious if your opinion changes if we turn it around this season.

I think we need a Smoot smackdown thread.

I'm sitting here laughing. Not at the fact that we are 0-3, but laughing at the fact that Danny Boy raised ticket prices after winning the NFC East last year. Now ticket holders are left holding a bag of poop.....lol

Firing Haslett doesn't solve anything. Makes it worse. Our d will pick up a new playbook and/or formation in the middle of a season?

Also I don't think Haslett even wanted the 3-4. Wasn't that Ms?

Yes it will, it will make them tackle better and cover better j/k. We had no cap space to improve the secondary this offseason, he basically has the same people with some rookies sprinkled in. Rookies are going to make mistakes and we all know Wilson and Hall aren't that good. All in all they didn't play that bad today, they aren't great then need the offense to help them out.

Re: Redskins Lions postgame

Just heard on TV during Megatron's post game interview, when asked about playing against the Redskins secondary, he said it was, "Like taking candy from a baby"

Damn, you know it's bad when the Lions are laughing at you.

I was talking at some guy at Hooters watching the...debacle and I'm like you really think our first choice for shoring up the secondary was Merriweather and Tanard Jackson, etc? Maybe the 18m?

I don't understand the fire Haslett talk either. He blitzed a lot today trying to get pressure. I actually thought today He mixed things up pretty well. We just don't have good players on defense.

Brian Orakpo was a 4-3 DE when he was at Texas. His hand was in the dirt pretty much every play in college.

I think people need to slow down some on the doom and gloom some. It sucks, but we actually played better today than either of the first two games. Some stupid turnovers by RG3 and a dropped TD was the difference today. We should have won but the mistakes on offense kept it from happening.
