Re: Around the NFL Week 5

I click on this thread and I see JoeRedskin quoting Shakespeare so I think to myself, "Wow! This is really becoming a classy site".

Then, in the very next post, CB59 quotes Bill Engvall and I think to myself, "Nevermind".

What's wrong with Engvall? He is a clean family comedian, doesn't cuss a lot like other comedians.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

He is the best 3-4 NT in the NFL. Althought Dontari Poe and Phil Taylor are great as well. I'm going to wait until the end of the season to see if I'd still have him as the best 3-4 NT, because Poe probably will be by seasons end. Hell he is now but I want to see him keep it going.

Also, was last game Barry's first without the cast? Or was it off against Detroit?

The Redskins DL is going to have to really get after people the rest of the year to be effective. The Redskins cant really stop anyone, but with sacks and turnovers they can turn games around. I think a 4 game sample is enough to realize that they are going to give up yardage by the 10s-20s, but when they can win the turnover battle, they might have a chance of beating people.

Now if the offense can just start converting 3rd downs, they will be in business again.

Rob Chudzinski just confirmed to reporters in Cleveland that Brian Hoyer has a torn ACL, and will undergo season-ending surgery.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

"he's the reason everything goes".... I'm not sitting around watching tape, but what does Mr. Haslett mean by that quote? Our D had it's best game of the year, but I'm not sure what to take from it. Oakland had a totally inept offense. We need to do it against Dallas. I do think Cofield was struggling with that broken hand. He's healthy now so again....let's man up against Dallas.

Great win by Cleveland last night. After everything those fans have been through, they deserve a winner. Sucks that Hoyer got hurt though....

And the brown was so ugly that in kinda looked cool. But I prefer the orange pants with the brown top.

^ Yeah, poor Brian Hoyer. He finally gets his chance and makes good on it...and then gets hurt. That would suck.

Did not hear how bad Hoyer's injury was. Is he expected to be out for any extended time?

EJ Manuel's injury looked pretty bad as well , I bet he has a torn MCL or something (of course I'm really DR Andrews in disguise)
