Re: Bucs Postgame
Don’t know about lights out, blatant interference vs Atlanta, got away with some holding yesterday. He’s playing better, but has lost a step.

Re: Bucs Postgame
I don't want to hop on someone's train after one game, but the dude was mauling people. Impressive for someone who was on the couch a week before. If he stays healthy, maybe that's our new "cheap" OG.

Re: Bucs Postgame
It's fine in games where it's close, but even when we're down by double digits, he's like, "Hey, let's keep the same game plan that isn't working and still play our DBs twenty yards off." That's how Brees and Ryan absolutely carved us up. I refuse to believe it's our talent. When people are running wide open it's either communication or game plan.

Re: Bucs Postgame
Positives:
-The whole Offensive Line minus Tony Bergstrom -Special props to Jonathan Cooper, the guy is the improvement over Lauvao we've been waiting for. Once Trent Williams comes back, we can slide Nsekhe to either LG or RG, get rid of Bergstrom and have ourselves a nice OL despite losing Scherff -Jeremy Sprinkle as somebody said above, he made some really nice blocks -Josh Doctson . I get the feeling his 2 awful drops last week created a spark inside the guy, he's finally heading in the right way! -Josh Norman they just don't throw his way ! -Nice play by my adopted son Ryan Anderson ^^ -D-FUCKIN'-FENCE ! I'm sorry but TOLD YA TOLD YA TOLD YA TOLD YA this defense was better than what they showed last week, and they could rebound like they did after the Saints loss ! -Manusky for getting this D over their worst performance of the year and coach them into putting together a great one! 3 things he specially deserves credit for in this game IMO: 1) He obviously highlighted the necessity of creating turnovers (hence Anderson, Stroman, Swearinger and Kerrigan all mimicking Norman and his popping-the-ball-loose-uppercut). 2) To everybody whining about the 400 yards, I think this was the game plan all along: let them go after our rookie corners (remember Dunbar is out, right?), as long as we don't get beat over the top, at some point Fitzpatrick is going to turn the ball over... Exactly what happened, nice job of identifying what you can and what you can't do . Talk about bend but don't break Defense against the number one offense on the F'in league!! 3) Noticed for the first time of the year he rotated both the DL and the pass rushers. Sticking with your starters worked incredibly well at the beginning of the season, but maybe part of last week underperformance was the big guys beginning to wear down a little bit. This week Anderson, McKinzie, Settle and even old McGee played a fair amount of snaps. They played well and this must have helped keep the starters fresh for 90 minutes! -The Eagles lost, we're 2 wins ahead, leading the NFCEast ! Negatives: GTFOOH we're 6 and 3, "winning" is the only word I can read in "winning ugly"! HTTR !!!

Re: Bucs Postgame
Also, special shout out to AP who routinely shows why he's a future Hall of Famer. The dude still just does runs that I'm like, "FUCKING WOW!"

Re: Bucs Postgame
That would be fun, I think they would win tho. The 2 teams we need to hope for are CAR and CHI.

Re: Bucs Postgame
Exactly. When we lose it's "we're not winning another game this season", when we win it's "yeah but we won't be playing late in January"...

Re: Bucs Postgame
Crazier things have happened, what if we get Chicago round 1? I like that match up.

Re: Bucs Postgame
We are getting healthier and getting players back like Quinn, Thompson, Crowder, Dunbar and possibly Williams by Thanksgiving. Smith is getting more weapons so I don’t want to hear he doesn’t have the players to work with. The Redskins can compete with anyone as long as they are consistent.

You forgot a few key factors that were out of control like 1) the bucs shot their feet right off 2) the bucs were an absolute dumpster fire 3) the bucs handed us the game on a silver platter It had shit to do with Alex Smith not turning the ball over. Lol. You can’t turn the ball over when you play afraid and miss everyone by a country mile when you wind up and launch the ball over 9 yards. Shit I don’t turn the ball over either probably because I take as many shots downfield as he does every Sunday. Quarterback is a big fat problem for us. |
