lol!
we'll see if they "feed off him" if he gets a chance w/the first team! Actually, 2nd team is more realistic. In all seriousness, I surely hope he can win the 2nd spot.

Re: Q.B. competition?

The no emotion thing doesn't really hold much water with me and really it's a baseless subjective complaint some fans seem to cling to. He didn't exactly keep quiet either, he did let it known that he was frustrated about what was going on.

In the end it's all about performance and leading by example. A fiery personality doesn't mean shit if you can't back it up.

I think it takes more balls to stand tall in the face of adversity and take the high road vs. bitching and whining to get what you want. I guarantee that his teammates have a lot more respect for him now with the way he has handled things this offseason.

I agree to an extent and the standing up the face of adversity bit works great in the offseason. There's nothing like a QB that gets fired up in the huddle to make everybody squeeze that lil extra bit of hidden effort out though, that 110%. We don't know that Jason isn't like that in the huddle though, or at least I don't.

Ok, i know ill get blasted for this but this is my 2 on the JC deal
He didnt demand a trade or go all Cutler because he knows he is not Cutler who is a pro bowl QB, we tried to trade JC... NO TAKERS. rumor was we wanted a 2nd and went down to a 3rd and still here he is.Tells me im not alone. Id like to see JC break out this year and prove me wrong but i wouldnt bet my house on it.

Re: Q.B. competition?

He still could have raised a stink if he wanted to.

In the end who cares. He handled the situation with class. If some can't or won't appreciate that... fine. Some people are going to think what they want no matter what the reality of the situation is.

All that really matters is how he plays on Sundays. The same people crapping on him now will be wearing his jersey if he has a big year.

Re: Q.B. competition?

I think its all a learning experience, and he watched how Brunell handled the media and trade/demotion rumors. Jason will have an above average season, probably will be the sixth best QB in the NFC. I think the team will play better this season and that's the key.
