Totally baseless prediction. He signs with the Browns
Good point re: age.

If the Browns sign him, they'd have gone about building a nice secondary without being flashy. You know I like me some Eric Wright (the deceased NWA one, too).

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

Meanwhile, Hall’s former Virginia Tech teammate, longtime friend and business associate Brenden Hill also weighed in, like this:

Whats up w/ this guy Carlos Rogers man...haha seriously Nobody called you the #2 corner you just played like it!....One of the biggest differences between winning and losing is turnovers. They don’t pay you to knock the ball down! Less Talk more Plays!...And at the end of the day it’s about the team. Dude is worried about who is #1! Just win games and you’ll all be #1 Corners!

Rogers is like the Donovann McNabb of Cornerbacks. Very talented and has had a lot of success at this level. However all to often he puts the ball on the ground.

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

Comparing Hall & Rogers; both could be much better. Rogers has always had issues w/the coaching staff that have affected his play, recall Blache benching him in 08 for biting on double moves. On the positive side, didn't see that last year, he played really well & dropped his usual amount of int.s.

Hall, ever since his days at Va. Tech, is a guy loaded w/talent that has never really put it all together. I think he could be among the best in the nfl. When he's motivated he can stay w/some of the best wr's.

Comcast did a segment w/D Hall on his pre-game "ritual" which is no ritual at all. He said he dosen't have a routine to warm up, it all depends on how he feels. That said to me that he's always had bad habits & doesn't take a professional approach to preparation. He plays like that too, some games he just seems to be sitting back waiting for an errant pass to come his way rather than reading & reacting to the play.

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

Kinda of on the fence. Carlos is not the game changer, as Hall displayed last year in a few games. He wants to be paid like it, and quite honestly I am not sure I'd give him huge money at this point. Asumgwua(however the hell you spell it) is probably more of an option at this point vs. resigning Carlos. I am sure that if Carlos leaves, he will sign with either Dallas or Philly. Both are looking at corners in FA as well. I also believe Carlos is a problem with his attitude. Those anonymous players comments, i believe came from him. He just seems more about himself than the team, obviously by his "#1 corner comments" I dont even know if the #1, #2 corner designation applies in the NFL anymore, or not nearly as much as it use to. With the NFL a passing league, teams have multiple recievers sets and you have to have 2 very good cover corners to be effective. I am surprised Hall just didn't say "Carlos, you want to be #1, ok your the #1 corner. This is MY defense though!"

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

Los calls himself the 2nd best corner on the market, so does that mean at present time that he's better then Bailey, Cromartie, Joesph, Grimes, Barber, and Ike Taylor? I'm not sure if he's a clear cut above though he may rank higher then a decent amount of the guys I just listed.

He's not as good as: Ike, Joseph, Cromartie (barely), and Bailey (when healthy)

Hes as good as: Grimes and Barber
