A strongly revamped secondary will do wonders for our front 7. They sort of play together .....

You guys really do not appreciate what a dynamic running back Zeke Elliot is and how he is going to impact Dallas' offense.
Trent Richardson was supposed to be a good RB too.. We'll see.. Cowboys did nothing to help themselves against what is fast becoming a pass strong division by taking Elliott over Jalen Ramsey.

Not an expert here but pretty sure Scot isn't drafting to stop a rookie running back

According to Jay, looks like they'll be putting Trent Murphy on the DL this year. (notes it in the video)

Re: Day 3 NFL Draft 2016 Rounds 4-7

Zeke Elliot is no Trent Richardson. He is the best RB to come out of college since Adrian Peterson. And If Scot is not worried about him, well, wait to you see what happens when we play Dallas. They have a great OL and none of our DB's or Safeties will be able to stop Zeke with a 10-15 yard head of steam.

Look, I am no Ohio State fan. But being in Columbus for the past few years I have watched Zeke run over or around every defense (including Alabama) that OSU has come up against. He is a freak combination of speed and power. I shake my head when I hear Scot worried about stopping Sproles on a third down play but then ignoring Zeke who will carry the ball 30 times running behind an OL with three first round draft picks. It is not going to be pretty for us.

Even if you are right about Elliot, some rookie defensive tackle isn't going to solve that issue next year. Build for the future and take the most talented player available. That's what teams like the niners, Hawks, packers etc have all done to build contenders. So stop bitching already and just enjoy the offseason, it's still going better than yester years before McGlock was at the helm. Go skins

Quit licking his balls.. he's a RB.. they all look good in college. 1 in 100 are worth a RD1 pick much less a top 5. He might turn out to be good.. odds are he won't. either way a rookie RB we'll face 2x a year at most is not our top concern..

Has anyone watched Ionnadis?

I was hoping for more of a nose, but whatever. Getting okay grades FWIW.
