Didn't he start 16 games for the Panthers last year and didn't they have a ridiculous running game? I thought he was a shoe-in.

Re: Redskins final cutdown thread

A few choices shocked me: Batiste and M. Williams on the oline. I just remember during a preseason game thinking, man this guy Batiste sure got beat good. Good thing he'll never play. I guess they are thinking potential w/ MW. The problem is we don't have time for potential.

I'm not really too confident in our backup LBs. Blades, Wilson (a converted DE), Thomas. Hope no one gets hurt...yea.

It seemed to me that Dixon was making enough plays to sneak on. Wynn though, I guess the game films showed something I didn't see.

yeah, he showed that a Rook RT can put him on his arse. I cant believe we kept him over some of the other guys we cut.

Wynn probably made the team for what he does in the locker room more then his play. and he is not really that bad against the run

You can count me as one of those doubters. I mean for 3 yrs he's shown Jack $#!% and figured he would or atleast should be cut. I was supprised at how he stepped up in this yrs preseason and even ate crow saying he actually looked good. Here's hoping he keeps up the good work cause we may need it.

On another note I think this was a good article....It too mentions the cutting ties with Colt that I mentioned in another thread.

Sometimes I really wonder if Mosley knows what he's talking about.

Mason a change of pace back?

LOL, I didn't say that....I just said I was mildly suprised he did better then I expected. Since we kept him on the roster he still needs to step up with the big boys and play like one or he will be a late cut.

Or, how about this:

Quote:
The Redskins are old at defensive end. Vinny Cerrato should take a peek around and see if any talented, young pass-rushers were released.
This is the deepest we've been with pass rushers in years. Andre Carter isn't old. Then we've got Orakpo, Chris Wilson, and Jeremy Jarmon who can all line up at the end position and go after the QB.
