Somebody is going to pay him... that was my point. I do think Snyder would pay him, he’s already given him $44M the last two years so why not? If he was truly that petty they would have gotten rid of him already. |

I still do not believe that he will be a Redskin next year.

5 years, 125 million, 75 guaranteed. That's my prediction. And he stays with us.

That should've been the deal last year, the cap will go up again this year so it will have to be a larger number. Skins keep shooting themselves in the foot on this one, the price goes up each year as the cap goes up.

I'd say pay the man but Allen insists on a team friendly deal that won't kill us if it doesn't work out. So far I haven't seen any indication that that's what Kirk wants though. We've made big money deals in the past that won't hurt us, i.e. Norman, no reason we can't do it again.

KC has wanted to, and will continue to want to, see what the market is willing to pay him. I think the Skins need to let him see the market, which will be pricey, and then pay him that plus. He's not giving the Skins a hometown discount ever, and he's worth it for him and Gruden to stay together.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
If he leaves next year we are taking a huge step backwards barring some stroke of luck that lands us a really good fucking quarterback. I dont see us drafting high enough to sign a blue chipper and who out there is coming to Washington in free agency that would matter? We should have locked this guy up two years ago. Would have already saved a few mill, and he wouldn’t have it floating around in his head. Kirk doesn’t seem to be the type of guy who would rest on his laurels because he got paid. He does seem to me to be the type of guy who needs to feel the love to play at his best.

I am showing that to my 9 year old son, that is how a leader operates. That was super impressive. Not just what KC says but how others treat him, he is seen as a leader. One football note from that. See how he said how he didn't like the play not to lose mentality. That is on JG, he seems to never wanting to risk putting the pedal down and bury teams. JG's conservative play calling in situations like that is super irritating.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I don't see a third franchise tag year. Cousins is getting a huge pay day next year. I just hope it's with the Redskins. All things considered, I think we have to understand that Cousins has proven a lot to us. Sure, there are examples that we can point to and say "hold the phone", but he's got the leadership down, he's working with less fire power for offense this year, and he's a guy you want as your quarterback. I think he'll get a Super Bowl ring at some point. I hope it's here. Sign Kirk Cousins!!!!!
