ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Yeah...like letting Cousins and McVay walk. We NEVER had a problem putting up yards and points on offense, it was always the defense the that was the problem. Now we have a really good defense and an idiot at QB with a coach who’s once high flying offense is now dumpster juice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Let me be CLEAR here. Smith BLOWS really bad. We could have saved the money and given McCoy a chance. (A guy who knows the offense better than anyone and plays with energy).
Instead we spent a draft pick, Fuller and how much on this idiot!!!?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No need to disrespect the guy by calling him names. Let’s grow up.

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Really Alex is a blessing in disguise. And really has put the team on a pace to win the NFC East.

You’ve gotta be joking. OUR DEFENSE is the reason we’re on pace to win the East, and the blessing in disguise. Smith has very little to do with our success. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Pretty much exactly what I see every week. Maddening is a good word. Lol. You must be overjoyed at Mahomes. 9 teams going to be kicking themselves for years to come about not taking him. |

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Smith is very much a factor in our +11 turnover ratio

Adrian Peterson, special teams, defense, o line - even the rag tag one. All much more valuable to this team than Smith. He basically just hands the ball off every play except sometimes it is a forward handoff of 4-8 yards. Lol. He aint shit. |

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
And my empty refrigerator is very much a factor in my diet. If there aint nothing there i cant eat it. If there aint nothing there they cant intercept it. We have a very opportunistic defense and AP is having one of his better career years as far as fumbles go. Only 1. Smith panics alot and looks immediately for the checkdown. I really hope Gruden tells him to get a little more aggressive with the ball because we are going to need that dimension in our game if we are going to actually compete with the big boys. |

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Why in the hell would a Chiefs fan be bitter towards Smith? Hell no. They got Mahomes. If there is a Chiefs fan anywhere in the world who is bitter about Smith leaving Id like to meet him. So i can smack him. Lol Look, and this is not particularly directed at u Okie, but at all the people who think we are a better team with Smith at the helm..... We have a vastly improved defense. We have vastly improved special teams. We have a run game for the first time in a while. Those are the reasons we are 11-3. Not Alex fucking Smith. In no way does not having a deep ball game make you a better team. |

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Damn sure wish we were 11-3
If that happens I don’t want to hear squat about Smith |

ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

It is not the 2018 Redskins because we have a D, a run game, and our special teams don’t turn special anymore. They execute. Im just not sure why there is this fallacy out there that none of that would be possible if we didn’t have a quarterback who was conservative out of necessity. He cannot do anything besides a real quick pass. I expected him to use his legs to keep plays alive and let our underwhelming wr’s - who were just as bad last year mind you - get separation. He doesn’t though. He rarely uses his legs at all. It doesn’t even have to be the deep ball, but he cannot hit alot of the intermediate stuff. Doesn’t even really try. If we do finish with some amazing record and it is done the same way we have won these 6 than I still want a quarterback. He does not change our defense. Three and outs hurt our defense and I think we are seeing that as the season grinds on. They get gassed. He does not change our special teams other than allowing Way to showcase his punting ability. AP or Guice when he comes back should be better if people were afraid of the passing game but they are not. It just doesn’t have to be a good d, run game, and st’s with no pass game or a pass game with none of the rest. Lol. Forget Cousins, ok, any quarterback that can help our pass game would be lethal with the way the rest of our team is playing. He would help the rest of the team be even better because of all the reasons I mentioned above. Look all I care about is winning really but winning consistently and beating good teams is just not realistic with a one dimensional offense. Look around the league. Saints, Rams, Chiefs, Steelers, Chargers, Bears even with Trubisky, Pats, Texans, Vikes. Those are the best teams and they all have quarterbacks that can throw it. We might have a banner day on defense or with the run and take one of them out but if we played those teams over and over we all know what the results would be and we all know why. |
