Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

I liked the headline. The story itself - meh
Jay Gruden feels Redskins 'definitely' improved at QB with Alex Smith over Kirk Cousins

Gruden needs to say the right things, just like when KC was here. I guess how much he believes it will play out on the field.

A lot of writers just seem to hate the Redskins. He makes us sound like a 2-14 team. Can't win with the media, maybe that's why they don't try.

Douche bag article. I think in terms of veteran leadership, yes, the 'skins are better at QB. Smith wants to be here. Cousins didn't. It's that simple.

Yea def. I take it as comments similar to the ones about RB. Nobody thinks Jay is happy with the position group but is def gong to talk the guys on the team up.

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

I agree with Jay, Alex is a winner and he will bring that to this team. 24 Tds 7 Ints probably but 9-10 wins book it. I'll take that over 28 Tds 12Ints and 4500 yards passing with a 7-9 record all day

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.

Even though I felt Reid royally screwed us when the 'skins got McFlabb, I believe he's being sincere with his praise of Alex Smith.

That was back when he knew we were crazy and he could take advantage of us, now he is in KC so I agree, I believe this will be nothing like Mcnabb

He also was a division rival. No way he sends Smith to Denver in an equivalent move.
