Vikings' Draft Wishes

Remember my former colleague who told me that the Seahawks would sign Joe Jurevicious and they did just that the next day? I spoke to him again this morning and his latest scuttlebutt is that the Vikings are really hoping for a miracle in the draft. They have two first round picks (7th and 18th).

At #7 they hope to get WR Braylon Edwards but would settle for Mike Williams

At #18 they hope to get DE Erasmus Jones.

He thinks - and I agree - that Edwards will definitely be gone before #7 and probably Williams will too.

We can't agree on where ol' Erasmus will go. I say around 12 or 13; he says between 8 and 10. Hmmm... Who is between 8 and 10?

Ooops...

Yet another example of my brilliant typing and proofreading skills - - -

That's Erasmus JAMES not JONES.

We are! The REDSKINS are! We pick 9th!!

Glad I could finally be helpful...

Of course, it's been made fairly obvious on this site that we're going to draft that QB-WR from Arkansas with the 9th pick and hope he pans out!
