I am not at all excited about Minnefield, He ran a 4.6 40ytd dash, that will get you beat every time in the NFL.

The 40 yd time was run after surgery , which he is still a few months away from being 100 % ( maybe IR this yr ) . Chase Minnifield slowed by microfracture surgery - CBSSports

Re: UDFA Thread

I'm happy with the 4th rounds picks. I was hoping Vontaze Burfict would be drafted by the Redskins in the late rounds though.

Re: UDFA Thread

I wonder what is philly saying to make players not want to sign with us. Are they simply giving more money or is it something else

Re: UDFA Thread

Chris Polk would have been an excellent addition. He signed with Philly over the Skins probably because he felt the Eagles had the better team. Forget him. If he can become a Ryan Grant then all power to him. We don't really need him. We got decent depth at the RB position.

Puleeze! You need to buy a vowel or something. Mike Shanahan would never draft someone like Burfict. He drafts team captains and players who impress him as people during interviews. He does not draft head cases.

I do.

First of all, he got beat like a drum by decent receivers.

Secondly, after blowing a lot of hot air our way about Sean Taylor, he signed with Philly for $1.98 more money. That seems a bit phoney to me.

I agree, we haven't had enough cancer in the locker room lately.

I'm going to throw a random name out here... Talking about Eddie Whitley? I'm disappointed all these VT players I like went to our rivals, David Wilson and Jayron Hosely to the Giants and now Eddie Whitley to the Cowboys.

That's like saying I was hoping to hire a two strike felon to be a security guard to watch a room filled with cash. We all know what the outcome will be.

People playing doctor in the presence of real doctors. Wow.

Anyway to answer the question about Minnifield he didn't actually have microfacture surgery nor did he have a knee injury to begin with. He has multiple personality disorder and one of the personalities believes he has a knee injury.

Textbook case. Sorry Lotus but you failed pretty bad on this one. Stick to your day job.

Re: UDFA Thread

If you do a search on WR Lance Lewis from ECU... You get a LOT of people saying he could be a draft steal/sleeper.

One sight broke down film comparing his adjustments to balls in the air and great hands to Brandon Lloyd... but he's 6'3 - 209lbs.

2010 - 89 catches - 1,116yds - 14 TDs
2011 - 60 catches - 600yds - 8 TDs (9 games - Missed last 4 with injury)

... Interesting.... I like.
