Ryan Anderson is working out with the D line and Tomsula.

What does this mean?

Absolutely nothing, but it's June.

Awe c'mon. Not yet. 2nd rounders usually make big jumps on their 2nd year.

Lets wait and see.

The best attribute the guy has is his strength. Maybe he can use it better inside in select situations.

They moved Murphy inside in some sub packages and he was serviceable to above average.

I'm curious at this point how it will go.

Yeah he had as good as a rookie season you can have at his position before his injury IMO.
His jersey isn't available for sale but I'd buy one if it was. One of our young players I'm most excited about!

Fabian Moreau is another young DB talent to keep an eye on. This could be a big year for him, as well, IMHO.

The fact that they're putting him there does not spell good news. He never played on the d-line in college. He's not big enough to play there anyway. He damn sure can't rush the passer.

He's probably just going to be an experiment before he is ultimately let go.

Re: Redskins OTAs

Maybe they just want Anderson learning some of the leverage techniques from Tomsula. Might be nothing more than a technical lesson.

That's what I was thinking. I hope it helps him.

Nevertheless, this is a FO that picked Anderson in the 2nd Round after his own college coach said that Anderson should play ILB rather than Edge in the pros. If Saban's advice about his own player isn't good enough for you, you get what you deserve.

Personally, I doubt that he is a fit for any position on our defense. There was nothing that stood out about him enough to justify using a 2nd Round pick on him. If Guice doesn't work out, we should just skip the 2nd Round from now on.
