As I've been saying, Allen was the perfect QB for this situation. A QB that can technically compete and push Haskins, but in the end he's a quality back up and can start if something terrible happens.

Kudos to RR for not adding any unnecessary drama to the off season in terms of QB. And I'm glad to see that he and his staff are willing to work with Haskins, and of course Haskins is willing to work with them.

The best outcome for RR and the Redskins is for Haskins to continue his improvement from last season and become the franchise QB many of us thinks he will be.

Looking forward to having Chase Young on the team next month.

I seriously believe Rivera would have brought in Newton if he thought he had anything left. The fact he didn't pretty much shows Newton isn't what he used to be and probably will end up a back up.

The Bears traded 2 first rounders for Mack. They fought they were one piece away from going to a Superbowl, gambled wrong and have slowly paid the price since. I don't see many teams doing the same thing after that.

Teams with a starting caliber quarterback will be more willing to trade up. Teams like the Bears with a back up quarterback like Trubisky probably shouldn’t seeing as nothing is going to help if you don’t have a good QB.

I can definitely see that, especially if there is no real offseason for Haskins to get comfortable with the offense.

Eh, I think Haskins still wins out. Just listened to Keim’s podcast and he said Dwayne is putting in the work on and off the field, he’s been studying Panthers game film with his QB guru.

Counterpoint, Haskins missed his first v-formation because he was too busy taking selfies with fans.

Boom. Roasted.

D Hall on Total access "I think Kyle Allen will win the job "

"I don't see Dwayne Haskins responding to coach Rivera, these young kids want everything handed to them"

WOW That is a huge statement

David Carr " Maybe the Redskins should trade Haskins"

Damn did we all miss something?

God damn it sfok. Until Kyle Allen is named the starter you are never going to convince me of anything.

LOL. Shit is getting wild in here. Kyle "John Elway" Allen is about to be the league MVP this year and Haskins will be delivering Amazon packages soon.

LOL I was shocked at D Hall's comments and predictions.. He basically threw Haskins under the bus and he also admitted that he was a fan of his last yr..
