Washington bye week pre game thread.

We are playing nobody, and our defense can’t stop nobody. I would like to think our offense can put up points against nobody but we put up 6 against the Giants.
Us - 13
Nobody - 37

They'll somehow come off the bye and win like 3.

It's official, Ron has completely lost the plot...

"There's a certain point in time when you get to each year and say, now's the time, let’s go. I mean, the process is now, and the time is now. So, let's see what we can do."

I honestly don't know whether to despise him or pity him at this stage.

I admire and sympathize with him. I admire him because I believe that he is a real man who tries to live up to his beliefs and responsibilities. I sympathize with him because he hasn't been able to make enough of the right decisions at the right times to succeed here and I think it must be causing him a great deal of emotional anguish.

+1

Admire is a strong word for me. I respect him, I think he's always tried to lead by example and set the tone for work ethic. He's just a bad coach and a bad GM, that's all. I'm secretly hoping he retires to spare the embarrassment of being fired.

Re: Washington bye week pre game thread.

I’m glad it’s the bye week. Hell I wish it was already over for this team.

The fact that the commanders r posting “Vote here for probowl” is comical.

Legitimately nobody besides Howell should even be mentioned on that list..

Re: Washington bye week pre game thread.

Kind of sucks but because of very few games pairing bottom feeders we are likely to lose draft position after this week. Of course upsets do happen so fingers crossed

That makes their game against the Jets very intriguing for us now.

Re: Washington bye week pre game thread.

If he gets fired, he probably gets to keep millions in extra money for not working, so I doubt he'll retire or resign. Not 100% sure if his contract is fully guaranteed etc, but it kinda doesn't really matter - he needs to go.
