I am not a big fan of the skins throwing around draft picks, but both Moss and M. Lynch were traded for almost nothing. Those two positions (WR and RB) are glaring holes with the skins right now.

Something on... but off the subject...

Guess the total amount of catches this past Sunday for "the Mosses" Randy & Santana COMBINED.

Answer: ZERO.

I'd venture to say that's the first time EVER that these 2 guys were healthy, played an entire game, and the two combined for no catches on the same day. It's extremely rare enough that either one has a no-catch day as is..

Now off the subject...

I meant to mention this in another thread... but Donovan/Redskins didn't even target Santana Moss once Sunday... it was very odd watching our pass offense in the 2nd Half...

McNabb's 2nd Half: 2-for-11 for 10 yds and an INT... yuck. :vomit:

Randy Moss has 5 games in his career where he was held without a catch. Not sure about Santana but I would say he's probably had a few too.

I meant the two guys.. "the Mosses"... on the same day didn't catch a pass. I noticed immediately after our game that Santana didn't, then when I heard Randy didn't ... that's pretty damn rare.

True, but a mid round pick for us is a big deal now since the McNabb trade.

Send em big Al for a few picks! I know they play a 3-4, but they could use a dominant DE.

The Pats have something up there sleeves. It has been stated by Wes Welker himself that most of his success came from Moss being doubled & him running underneath routes. Revis on Welker not as interesting as him on Moss. They have to bring in someone else otherwise Welker will start to look very average like his career in Miami.

According to Adam S. Minnesota also receives a 2012 7th rounder.

For real!?!?

So they gave up their 3rd rounder in the 2011 draft and got Moss and a 7th rounder back in the 2012 draft for arguably a top 5 WR in the game. (top 10 for sure, even at his age now)

and we couldn't top that?
Unbelievable...

Yea,I would rather keep Hall of Famer Roydell Williams as well. He's a stud..lol

Re: Vikings and Patriots complete trade for Randy Moss

Keep in mind though the trade was made with no new contract for Moss. I'm not sure we want to have traded for two 30+ year old veterans looking for one final huge contract.

Re: Vikings and Patriots complete trade for Randy Moss

i dont want to trade any drafts picks for guys who just want to get paid...hell i dont want to spend moneys on guys who just want to get paid (Haynesworth). After I saw what we have drafted the last 15 years in the way of WRs, that looks bad too. Free agency next year their could be some talented guys at a good price, Jacoby Jones, Steve Breaston, Malcom Floyd...
