Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.

They ended up not trading him so that makes him unavailable.

Just because they didn't trade him doesn't mean he isn't available. Maybe a first round pick would persuade them.

No thanks. We've got our Quarterback. I know alot of people don't agree, but I truly believe Jason Campbell can lead us to a title. He just needs a little more time in the WCO and the right guys around him (we're getting close in my opinion).

HAIL!

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.

And who are they going to get? If they want to compete like the are signing FA all over the place then they won't. There just isn't anyone who can replace him, Cassell was the only one.

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.

I like Jason Campbell more than most, but I would take Cutler in a heartbeat. I disagree with you, however, when you imply that he is available or that the Broncos would deal him for a 1st round pick. The teams that approached them did so because McDaniels is the new coach and they though maybe he would rather bring Cassell with him to Denver. Didn't happen and the Broncos would be absolutely insane to trade Cutler for the 13th pick. Cutler is the best young QB in the league. If Denver can get a run game he'll be one of the great ones. So I'd take him, but he ain't coming.

Are you really thinking OR asking opinions if it would be a good idea for the SKINS to trade a first for Cutler?

Not that I'm sold on JC by any means, this season will tell the tale. But I'm certainly not sold any more on Cutler, than I am on JC. But thinking the SKINS would give up a first is very unrealistic and/or retarded IMO.

Not to mention, if I had to guess Cutler is going to be with Denver. He is under contract.

There's no need to do that though, haven't we determined we have more important things to deal with before we need a superbowl qb?

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.

I love JC & really believe we need to stick w/him. Long-term he's a winner.

I have to admit though, I think Cutler is on the verge of stardom. I can't believe they would actually think of trading him, but if they did, it would at least be worth checking on the asking price. (For the skins it would be high!)

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.

Why the hell would Denver think about trading Cutler? He's one of the premier young QB's in the league.
