Just glancing that article is full of a bunch of theory, that has nothing to back it up. Scientific "theory" as in guess work.

A good example:

Among all the ex-players, whose mean age was 53, indicators of low testosterone and ED were about 18 percent and 23 percent respectively

Pretty sure the average 53 year old man has indication of low testosterone and 1/4 of them have ED.

Sorry but those stastics are comparable to a man in his 80s not for a mid 50s man.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

I see Gruden’s only path to staying beyond this season to developing Haskins. Defenses will know Guice and AP are good and they will put 8 in the box until Case shows he can get it downfield AND the OL proves it can pass protect.

6 years has proved Jay Gruden to be an average AT BEST, head coach. He can’t get the team prepared for “must win” games, he’s predictable and he rarely wins the second half. After we get through the first 5 games, at 1-4, he’ll put in Haskins to try to save his career. Not by winning games, but by developing him.

I think we'll be 2-3 but Haskins will start after Thanksgiving

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

I see Haskins playing in the first half of the season.

Case will have to show he can move the team by passing, because the ground game will be closed by teams stacking the line to prevent it. Also our OL is going have to prove they can really pass protect.

The one group I have faith in is the WRs. They will be severely unrated and they have some talent, speed, side and youth with C.Sims, Quinn, Richardson, MacLaurin, Davis and Harmon.

This is exactly like the Keemun / Haskins situation. Martin is slightly worse than Flowers RIGHT NOW, but it Gruden would start the rookies on Day 1, they would probably be better than the veteran by halfway through the season and certainly by December.

Flowers is going to be trampled by pass rushers until Gruden brings in Martin.

I don't have a problem with this IF Gruden finds a way to overcome Flowers' deficiency as a pass blocker.

Also, this team is going to run the hell out of the ball, so at least Flowers showed some improvement on that.

That won’t last long, so I’m not worried.
