Re: Tshirt help

Daseal:

There is a HUGE middle ground between Danny Boy's ownership style and the owner who is there only to minimize costs and make profits on the team regardless of the fact that they are 5-11 in "good years" and 2-14 in "bad years".

As an example, look at the ownership/managerial styles of Bob Kraft, Jeffrie Lurie, the Rooneys, Jim Irsay (NOT his father, Bob Irsay), Steve Bischotti (sp?) or Pat Bowlen.

These are great!
Take Your Belt Buckle and Go - Front | DCLance's Redskins T-Shirts

Check out the others also. I'm in no way affiliated to this site. Just saw one at the game a few weeks back and thought it was great.

if its just football, why do you have 26k+ posts? You love the skins, and you love talking about the skins. Yes it may "just be football" but there are literally thousands of things you could be doing on a daily basis, but aren't.

Yeah but there's a difference between enjoying talking about football, and going out and making t-shirts, or putting up billboards or other extremes.

that is true- and there is something inherently hypocritical about rushing out to profit from something's demise (isn't that why we are all so upset with Danny to begin with...)

Well I think maybe you missed my point or I didn't make myself clear. People can make all the t-shirts and rent all the billboards they want. It's not my thing, but that's neither here nor there.

When I say "it's just football" I'm referring more so to people wanting to do these things to tell Snyder and Cerrato that they wished they would just be struck with a fatal disease, die a painful death, rot in hell, etc. To me, that's a bit extreme

Re: Tshirt help

Some decent suggestions here. Just for the record, I have no intention of selling them to anyone. I am not in this as a cash business, more as a simple expression of dissatisfaction. Unlike Danny, I have no drive to cash in on anything here and I can make a shirt for less than it costs me to park for one game.

Something simple like "F Dan Snyder" on one side and "Sell the team!" will probably do the trick for me. For those that cannot understand it, or understand the rebellion against an ignorant owner, so be it. You need only to look at the Washington Capitals to see how a franchise should be run, and look at the Redskins to see how it should not.

Re: Tshirt help

why don't you link up with the bus drive, give away shirts as people get on the buses that have the ads that all say sell the team. then get metro to drive around ashburn where danny might happen to see them on his way in to redskins park.

or donate a portion of your sales to mda also, and another portion to the bus drive.

This may work people. I see Daniel Snyder selling the team any day now!
